I'm not sure I'd say Canada has taken a huge jump to the left but... I think it also depends on your point of view. I'm more of the opinion that Canada has taken a jump towards stupidity.

It has always been wildly variable on the Island. We have gone from a few inches total to 5 feet total from one year to the next.
Right I remember when they were complaining about lack of frost for winter logging. I think the pine beetle infestation was a direst result of that warming.
So they are admitting coal is clean energy. SInce China is building multiple coal fired generating plants.
