Not even going to try. I'm not sure I agree with you, but I don't think it's worth the effort to try to make the argument. From my perspective the biggest knock against feminism as I've experienced it is that it has absolutely no sense of humour, about anything, it's all deadly serious, often wrong, and not above manipulating, or even making up, statistics to further the agenda. It's done very well by painting itself as powerless victims.
The feminism we knew in the 1970s is completely different than today. Today it's crazy spiteful, vengeful garbage no longer about glass ceilings or equality.
Canadian feminists sound like a surly bunch. They're all over the spectrum down hereabouts, funny ones, laid-back ones, angry ones, sad ones.
They haven't stormed the Capitol or tried to kidnap a governor yet, so we have more pressing problems.
All groups are hate groups it seems these days. Agree with me or I hate you.
Why would that matter? Feminists are global.
You need Mexico City grade feminist violence in the US or it doesn't happen?

Women wearing black balaclavas pulled down parts of the barricade as the police fired volleys of flash-bang grenades into the crowd, causing several small stampedes.
At least 62 police and 19 civilians were injured by late Monday evening, according to Mexico City’s security branch.

Having interviewed a diverse group of young German and British women for my research, I found associations of the term "feminism" with man-hating, lesbianism or lack of femininity was a key factor in rejections of the label "feminist".
The majority said they did not want to call themselves feminist because they feared they would be associated with these traits. This was despite many stressing they were not homophobic and some identifying as lesbian or bisexual.

It used to be a little different but today you're right. And there's a reason for that. As has been noted elsewhere the most effective ways to motivate people are fear and anger. Get them genuinely afraid of a group, or get them genuinely angry at a group, and you can get them to take whatever actions you want and motivate them to do your bidding.
In the old days women had legitimate issues - they really weren't allowed to vote, they really didn't earn money like men did, they had a hard time getting a mortgage on their own because it was assumed they'd marry and get preggers and have to quit work.
Those problems are all solved. Women make as much as men in the workplace now and there's laws to protect them. They can vote, they can buy a home, they can do whatever men can do under the law and a few things men can't. They have a huge amount of power.
So .... how do you keep making a living off of 'women's rights' if that's the case? Well - you need to invent a bunch of fake things and get women good and angry about them.
So we get this imaginary "patriarchy" that is out to get all women, we get the lies like "women get paid 80 percent for the same work" when the studies show this is NOT true, women get paid about 99 percent for the same work but tend to work less and therefore make more like 80 percent - but not for the same work.
We get "rape culture" arguments where every single thing a man does is part of 'rape culture'. We get the idea of 'toxic masulinity" where it's literally poisonous and evil for a man to do anything a woman wouldn't want to.
THen - they get women furious over it. And thus they stay in business.
Of course it's all about hate. There literally isn't any movement without hate today. Nobody would be interested in it if they didn't hate.

I have to agree. I posted this thread after stumbling across female MRAs (men's rights activists) and having my eyes opened wide and jaw hitting the floor.
It's definitely nothing like the 70s. 180° opposite
By the way - fun fact, in austrailia years ago they tried to make hiring more "Fair" for women because the left was claiming that people were deliberately not hiring women because they were women.
So they tried 'blind' hiring - were all the information that would indicate sex was removed and only qualifications were left. The people doing the hiring were not able to tell what the sex of the person was. This was to make sure that women had as fair a chance at it as men.
It failed miserably. Fewer women got hired. They had to stop. turns out all along that employers actually do hire people BECAUSE they're women. Making it equal meant more men were hired.
