To knock myself out at night I’m reading a sensationalistic book from 1980 that rehashes older theories on polar shifting with dire warnings of the impending global ice age…unless we strategically nuke Antarctica…to prevent the perpetually overgrown ice cap from flipping the planet over on its side placing an article along the equator, then global flooding as Antarctica melts in the tropics.
It is hilariously dry and I get about 10 pages in nightly and then I’m out cold. It’s my sleep drug. “Pole Shift” by John White.

Well, Zionists are all for the existence of Israel, pretty much so I'd call that technically Zionist.
In reality though I think that most wouldn't give a shit or care if they weren't sucked into the need to be collectively guilty over how Jews were treated.
OK, then the UN is "technically Zionist." Israel is, to the best of my knowledge, the only country whose existence as a country was approved by a vote in the General Assembly (there may have been a couple of others since then).
I support Israel's right to exist as a country under international law. And I'll praise or criticise various things Israel does as I see fit.

While I accept that yes, Israel exists and like you I will shit on the negative they do, or actually give credit when it's due, I'm not sure that I actually support the fact that it exists as a country in how it came to be as a country.
Granted, you weren't going to get anywhere on this planet that the Jewish people would be 'welcomed' and have their own country without issues. But with how Israel came to be, the - as I said - the collective guilt over how the Jewish people were treated through WW2 and other factors, the entire affair was just done wrong from the get go.
So I don't 'support that'.
But it is history, 80 some years of it and I'm just some unknown from Canada with an opinion.
It exists, as do many other countries, because Britain stomped in and took over, then in its high-and-mighty way, when it exited, exhausted from WWII, it split up "Palestine" into Jordan for the Muslims and Israel for the Jews (those two peoples, by the way, generally lived in harmony and mutual respect until Britain decided it had a better way). Then the traumatized Jews from WWII decided to run with it. All in all, they've done a half-decent job in very trying circumstances. Let's just say they treat the Arabs and Muslims better than the surrounding countries treat people, and better than the Canadians and Americans treated the FNs/Natives for the first 75 years of their existence.
Agreed. Sadly at the time it 'was the way of things'. I mean, post-Colonialism sucked for everyone really whether in the ME or India or Africa or anywhere really.
But I also see it as because the rest of the world didn't want "The Jews" in their population, the push for Israel began after WWI, then became the thing after WWII after the Holocaust. Giving "The Jews" a real 'homeland' to go to as reparations for 'letting' them die by the millions in the camps and denying them when they tried to leave because they weren't believed when they told other countries what was going on, likely at the time seemed the better and more 'altruistic' thing to do. AKA, guilt that the Holocaust happened, but also washing hands of what to do with the living Jewish people after the fact. (This isn't a harp on the Jews really though, moreso on the "powers" at the time for being fucking idiots).
Likely for lack of any other choice, plus, well, their 'homeland' as they say it, and support of the world to get it despite who lived there at the time.
I would have agreed with you, up until about 20 or 30 years ago; now though, they're as much a monster as the people they claim are monsters.

Now the West has obliged the Russian and driven them to the corner; the Russian may become obliged to use their destructive weapons, in addition they are telling Putin that he is a murderer and should be taken to the International Court, and they have robbed all their reserved money
So what is expected from this atheist or idolater Russian to do?
While he may not believe in the Next Life or in the Final Judgment by God in the Next Life, and the West is not short of this man with their blasphemous beliefs.
