Tamara Lich. Now I know her name and I didn’t realize there was a thread about this until just a minute or two ago. I posted this in a different thread a few minutes before that:

Speaking of pieces of pieces of work, I’ve been busy-busy the last handful of days, but they where talking about the woman locked up for helping organize that Convoy this who’s been in custody for several weeks now.

They where saying on the radio she’s got no prior criminal record, but is still held in custody, and for her most recent court appearance (Friday?), they shuffled her into court in handcuffs & leg-irons ‘cuz she’s such a physical threat to her escort guards? It just sounded weird.

Once again you are showing deplorable debating skills , There are many ways to call an idiot an idiot without using demeaning language . Of course attacking the messenger is usually a sure sign the emperor is naked .Why haven’t you got dressed ?

Yes there are. I am a firm believer in calling a spade a spade. No bullshit hidden double entendres. You want to call that deplorable debating skills, you go right ahead. I don't give a shit. About 12 years ago it just sounded cool, then after about a year someone (Dexter S actually) pointed out that it happened to also be the name of some defunct west separatist party, then I got busy and forgot about it…..then a decade went by without me even noticing it was still there, & then you asked me about it.

That’s the chain of events, & it really means nothing as I forgot about it even being there years ago. Short version is I thought it had a nice ring to it back about 2010 or so.

I can see why King and Lich were denied bail.

Pretty sure leg irons are standard for any prisoner, though I agree it is a little much.

Still has a nice ring to it. Western voices are sorely missing in Ottawa.
