The Russian strongman and aspiring czar is still getting love from politicians, activists and influencers who have taken to wearing T-shirts and buttons with the letter Z to show their support for obliterating Ukraine.
Russian tanks and military vehicles rolling over Ukraine also have Z painted on their sides. Predictably, the Putin propaganda pushers at Russia Today are behind the campaign. Proceeds from the maniacal merch are said to be going to a charity supporting “children of war.”
The T-shirts with the letter Z are selling for 1,190 rubles (about $13), the Daily Mail reports.
Among those sporting the evil ensemble are former spy and Russian MP Maria Butina, who was convicted in 2018 in the U.S. for acting as a foreign agent. She sported one of the spiffy T-shirts in a photo.

She captioned the photo: “The team in support of our army and president! Let’s get to work guys!”
Politician Mikhail Delyagin also wore a Z button in the Duma, where Putin toadies unleashed a slew of draconian new laws.

Delyagin said in a statement: “Now we are at war. Yes we have a special operation in Ukraine, but we have a war with the West.”
Putin has continued to insist Russia is not bombing Ukrainian cities to rubble even as western observers say the casualty counts are mounting to horrendous levels as fighting intensifies.
An isolated Putin could use cheerleaders now. Kyiv reports that Russia has now lost around 9,200 men in the fighting, along with hundreds of tanks, almost a thousand armoured vehicles, and dozens of helicopters and jets.
