I think the jabs would have worked if they could have got them into a lot more people a lot quicker. As it was they were too slow getting it into the third world and had too many people in the first world who didn't get the jab because they considered themselves educated because they watched some youtube videos. This combination gave the virus enough time to mutate. The good news is that for most people who are vaxed omocron is relatively mild. And it will spread like wildfire and we will get a natural immunity. If this one had come first, we could have done it without all the lockdowns and crap.
What is scary now is the crap our federal government is pulling now. Going after people who served these people burgers or donated to them is wrong on so many levels. I don't agree with the basic premise of the truckers protest but everything they did seemed peaceful aside from some yahoos and the fact they blocked some downtown streets in Ottawa. I fully support their right to protest even though I don't agree 100% with their cause.
