At the 27 second mark you can see the camera flash down to reveal the handles
What handles? At the 27 second mark of the twitter video YOU posted there's a woman standing with a white plastic bag in her hand, no handles of anything.

at the 45 second mark you can see the horse push unto the crowd and the position of the white plastic bag she had in her hands

At the 45 second mark the horses are walking in between the protester and police line.

----

You want to break it down? Okay, we can.

At the 34 second mark, the video taker PANS RIGHT to show the horses.

Meaning he turns the camera away from the woman, to his right; she is now on his left, in the crowd/behind him.

At the 31 second mark, the video shows the woman BEHIND the very front line of protesters.

Okay, so we've established her position.

Between seconds 35 and 42, the woman MOVES FORWARD TOWARDS THE FRONT OF THE LINE just as the horses are walking in from the left. There is NO sign of a walker, though she can be picked out by her distinctive jacket. Her arms are not forward to show there is a walker in use.

At the 44 second mark, there is a man in a black toque and brown coat, his back turned to the horses, allowing one horse to shove him, but he DOES NOT MOVE OUT OF THE WAY.

The lady with the bag, who has moved from her position to the front of the line, is standing facing this man and the horse, as evidence of the bag in her hand.

Between 44 and 46 seconds, a second horse comes up to move beside the horse first mentioned at second 44.

At 46 seconds, yet another horse moves in beside the second horse, and it is this one that 'tramples' the woman, who is now either caught between horse 1 and two OR was pushed by horse 2 out of the way into horse 3.

The lady falls over and at 48 seconds, she's on the ground. There is someone in a brown coat also on the ground - the original man?

At 49 seconds, the horse's back right leg is dropped, the butt is low to the ground, indicating a slip (can also see the butt almost hit the ground in that same second).

At 53 seconds, people from the line and police are helping her, she looks to be on her hands and knees?

After that the video taker is pushed back and she is lost in the crowd, I won't assume anything beyond that.

With all this information...

The woman has no visible walker.

She moved herself INTO the line of the horses.

She was pushed over, fell, or perhaps even slipped (assumption; the horse slipped so I'm assuming there was ice on the ground perhaps?) and hit the ground.

A horse slipped/lost its footing and nearly sat on the ground, perhaps coming close to stepping on the woman.

-----

That is all you can see from the incident.

I have my questions answered.

She's a whatever hundred lb human vs. 1000 lb horse.

She lost.

And she walked INTO the horse to lose.

No sympathy.

Thank you for posting another angle that proves she did this to herself.

No walker.

Horse slipped.

Crowd was pushed back, police helped her to her feet (get her looked at? I am assuming that, she is seen with police though).

No sympathy.

I'm gonna ETA here:

The horse didn't slip, though a couple did stumble over piles of snow.

The horse that 'trampled' the woman actually tripped over her and the man that were knocked down.

Anyone who knows horses knows they are blind under their nose and right in front of them. If a person is down below their nose, they are NOT going to be seen by the horse.

Horse had no clue humans had fallen to the ground and stumbled over them. It felt something at its feet and tried to pick its feet up over them, lost footing.

I can see how it looks like a purposeful trample when seen in live.

But it wasn't.

Sorry.

I’ve never heard of Pat King until this morning and I watched a few of the videos a few pages back and yeah he’s a complete douche bag…. But why does this have to be an either/or situation?

How is Trudeau not a racist unless someone else is? I’m not following your logic. Can they not both be racist douche bags?

Pat King is a Canadian patriot. A douche bag is someone who calls others douche bags. Now I wonder who they can be? :sneaky:

You can clearly see the last 2 horses went on both sides of the man in front of her that the other ones brushed causing the inside horse to run into her

Chrystia Freeland used to work for the Washington Post.. I wonder who was behind the GiveSendGo hack and subsequent leak of names to the Washington Post..

If the Liberals grab this kind of power.. the only way this will be resolved will be with bullets and bloodshed.. the peaceful protest is gone.

The slippery slope is not a fallacy. Anyone who toboggans knows.

Does not negate that she moved herself into the position to be in the way of the horses, she didn't remove herself from their direction. She fell because she put herself in harms way.

And the horse tripped over her and the guy on the ground; if she was hurt/trampled, it was unintentional; horses can't see under themselves, after all.

I've been kicked by, ran into, and near trampled by livestock and horses here at home, I don't need to go to a rodeo to see it live

BTW, what about a horse having a chair swung at its legs? Was that okay?

If you know this shit then why the hell are you siding with a dumbfuck who tried to move into the way of a horse?

I wasn’t there either and I only know what I’ve seen in the short video, and was only pointing out the misconception or outright lies when I posted:
1) this woman was not the Fox News reporter Sara Carter (whom I’ve never heard of before this morning).
2) it does not appear that she (the woman in the red and black jacket) threw a bicycle under the horse, as I’ve read that the police are claiming, in order to injure the horse.
3) when I watched the video of this happened, I did the “ One 1000 two 1000“ thing between the first person saying here come the horses, and the people ending up under the horses. I got to 8. I’m not sure how fast somebody with a mobility walker is supposed to move.
4) before the horse thing happened this woman was being recorded and said that she was doing this for her children and grandchildren? Beyond that I have no idea of her motivation.
5) I have no idea of the motivation of the officer on the horse. I am assuming that he would’ve been aware of the crowd he was riding into though. His view of what’s directly in front of or underneath him obstructed by the head and neck of the horse itself.

I was responding to the “LOL” comment to someone ending up knocked over by a horse in a crowd thing, and the claim that she was a Fox News Reporter. I thought that was odd justification for someone being gleeful about a trampling? That was enough cause for a quick Google search to confirm or deny the “facts” as they where presented

Horses are big animals. they could be 7+ feet tall. I’m 6+ feet tall and I would see horses coming if I was in a crowd most likely, but I might not if I was 5 1/2 feet tall. I can see over the heads of most people. I have nothing but respect for the size & weight & power of a horse.
I in no way claimed the person injured was the Fox News reporter. I posted from the link in post 2425, quote, "According to Fox News contributor Sara Carter, the woman tramped by the mounted patrol may have passed away in the hospital. Others are reporting that the elderly woman is merely injured."

I did not in any way laugh at the woman possibly getting hurt I said "The only ones getting trampled are the ones not moving away from the horses. LOL" Meaning if you stand in front of a moving horse, you will be moved.

I’ve only seen one video & not from multiple different angles, & maybe there is more than one woman involved with a horse on Friday in Ottawa. I’ve only seen this one:

I saw that earlier too but I don't see a walker in the video... I THINK I see it actually in the second, closer up video.

Maybe that and her and the guy on the ground is what made the horse trip? Dunno.

In the end, she still moved her ass INTO the way of the horses. She moved to the front of the line. Falling is on her.

Ah, my mistake, & I apologize.

I must’ve been bouncing too and fro too fast and again I apologize. I thought I read that you were claiming that this woman under the horse was the Fox News reporter.
