For a good many of them, covid was just the last nail in the coffin. Way back before covid my lat uncle died at 94. pneumonia is listed as the cause of death even though he had multiple existing problems. The numbers have been manipulated for political purposes.
I happen to know how they are determined. It has also been proven that the BC government was playing fast and loose with the numbers.
