What are you cheering on? That unvaccinated truckers are allowed back into Canada and having to quarantine or that unvaccinated truckers are not allowed into the US?
Maybe because they are standing up and being counted , unlike most of Canadian society who are bending over and taking it up the you know where .

An end to the mandates. Choice.

Many if not most of the truckers in the convoy are vaccinated…on both sides of the border. This convoy isn’t about being against vaccines or even about truckers. It’s about government forcing useless mandates on people that don’t work. It’s about fighting for the simple process of getting back to normal and embracing the basic fact that we will be living with Covid from now on. Taking away peoples’ rights, their freedom to choose their own medical interventions, taking away their livelihoods, ending careers, removing their ability to earn a living isn’t going to solve anything. Shutting down businesses, locking people in their homes, stopping kids from going to school won't do anything ...except erode and degrade society more than it already has. This trucker vaccine mandate is the spark, but it’s not what’s burning.

This convoy is exactly that the US and now Canada are not allowing unvaccinated truckers across their borders. It has nothing to do with trying to "erode and degrade society".
Like it or not, the US started this and no matter what Canada does, they still cannot get into the US to pick p product to deliver it to Canada.
Trying to somehow make this only a Canadian issue is nonsensical. even if Canada completely withdrew it's regulations, they truckers would still not get into the US with their trucks.
Yes they get support but do the supporters really understand the problem is with Americaan requirements???

Thanks for framing this in the boundaries of your perspective, I feel so much better now that you've told me what you think this is all about. Again....most of these truckers are vaccinated. Maybe instead of bloviating about what you think this is about in your narrow perspective, you should dig in a little deeper and actually listen to their message.

There are something like fifty thousand trucks heading to Ottawa , and you think it is all about the border . Dig deeper .

This may well end up including the U.S. Truckers as well as they too are being forced to vaccinate. Our Truckers may give them the impetus to do the same. Give it time - we'll see.
Thousands of American trucks are rolling North toward Ottawa right now in support from Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, Georgia. they're indicating if they are blocked at the border, they'll turn border crossings into parking lots. They understand fully well that it affects them as much as Canadians.

That is the key isn't it?
Unvaccinated Canadian truckers are pissed they have to quarantine when the return to Canada from the US. But wait, there's more.....Canadian truckers are not allowed intop the US if they are not vaccinated so, what the hell are they protesting??? They can't go to the US so they don't have to worry about quarantining.
So basically, those unvaccinated truckers have to stay in Canada and work only in Canada. Why are they prostesting to Ottawa....they can't get into the US anyway.
That mandate got stayed in the US court

You seem to be stuck in a (an intentional?) loop here. Yesterday I stated that the percentage of vaccinated drivers in Canada is about identical to the rest of the population at between 85% and 95% vaccinated currently. Then I asked, “In this convoy what percentage of them do you think you’re actually unvaccinated?”

Anyway, entering the fray, regarding International Cabatage Rules…. With respect to Canadian drivers and the US, every load that a Canadian driver picks up in the US HAS to cross “1” (& not 2) International border. Any load of the Canadian driver is bringing into the US HAS to cross “1” (& not 2) International border. On that note a Canadian driver can hook up to a load in the US but he hast to bring it to Canada, or he can hook up to a load in Canada bound for the US but that’s it. He/She can not pick up A load in one state and deliver it to a different state. On that note is that where the big money is for Canadian drivers? It’s not like 100% of Canadian drivers are cross-border drivers by any means either….

For the last two years during this pandemic, neither Canadian or American drivers (ESSENTIAL Classification) crossing the border had to isolate for two weeks regardless of their Covid status. This is something new as of January 15 2022 at the wave a magic Liberal wand. Are these drivers less Essential on January 16th then they where on January 14th? If they’re no longer Essential, what changed?

Two years ago when we didn’t know much about Covid at all other than it was very contagious and it was killing people, plea’s went out to the Transport industry to continue hauling essential goods to keep society functioning. What happened? Did shipping and the economy stop (?) and if not why? How did things keep moving? Who did that? Before Covid vaccinations even existed were you worried about Scurvy (?) and if not how come?

Did the “Empty Shelves” syndrome occur starting January 15 or previous to that? If it started previous to that, is this mandate going to make it better or worse (?) or not affect things at all?

The facts are, they cannot go to the US to pick up products...,period. making more of this is nonsense.

Source of the thousands of trucks claim???
Yup, there will be parking lots. A great way to get sympathy.
