I know in Alberta they were looking at "mini" nuclear plants. Don't know what's happened with that as I haven't heard anything recently.

Well,as long as governments are giving rich people money to buy electric cars, they need to start to figure out where all that electricity is going to come from.
Funny how nuclear power is now becomeing a "clean" and wanted source pf power. I clearly remember all the protests about evil nuclear power. If I think about it, those protestors are now the adults that are wanting it LOL

I don't get how hydroelectric (Niagara Falls etc) is so damn dirty........
It is not that hydroelectric is dirty, it is the tens of thousands of acres (hectares) that will be flooded for damming to produce the electricity.
Nuclear will not impede aboriginal lands and will, in the end, cost less if we don't have to pay the aboriginals land claims. LOL
