In some ways it wasn't a very good year, in others not so bad................in some ways a lot of minor worries disappeared. "Keeping up with the Joneses" isn't so important anymore. There's more important things than "looking good" and being accepted for trivial matters!

Possibly not, by this time next year we might have the benefit of herd immunity and possibly there will be a carry over from all the lessons learned by the whiners in 2020. This year was NOT bad for many folks, next year will be a little better for those who survived 2020.
