That may be true in the US which has never really come off it's first wave. I don't buy it for Canada. We handled the first wave pretty well. Expect the same for the second.
If you consider canceling and postponing elective surgeries to make way for an onslaught of patients that never materialized, handling it well .

Quebec and Ontario being possible exceptions, but they just don't seem to give a shit anyway.

Slightly. Not to the degree that it was in April, when a disproportionate number of elderly people in nursing homes were coming down with COVID. Now the demographics have changed, and it is the predominantly young who are becoming infected.
Back when elderly and susceptible were being tested and those under 40 who are non symptomatic couldnt be tested unless they were dirty sick. Anyone can get a test on demand and multiple times as of late.
Look man, my woman is tits deep in this and has been for 8 months. Management.
I"ll go by what's actually happening in reality gleaned by listening to those doing the work, isnt politically slanted and you can go on about whatever BS line of the day is thrown your way.
It's time to wake up.

Well, of course you DON'T cancel or postpone anything until something does materialize!

Agree.!!

The number of cases and deaths in the US is astounding. And the cracks are being exposed even now.

The Saskatchewan Health Authority is reporting 19 new cases of COVID-19 on Saturday—15 of which are from Saskatoon. The other four are split between Regina and Central East.

Nonsense.

Number of US coronavirus cases - 7 million.

Number of US flu cases on average each year - 26 million.

Maybe you people need to check the stats rather than relying on the MSM before blurting out the nonsense that hospitals are overwhelmed.
