I had an LOA booked from April 1 to October 1 to do my my real job. I'm not going back to the winter job. F-ck that. If you knew what it was, you wouldn't either.
by not gong back......will you be taking advantage of the C-19 "help" from the Gov't??

No. Why? It would only be a loan that I dont need.

Fairstone is offering $20K preapproved says my mail. Should I take that too?

If I need cash, I'll sell some barley.

" Mortality for COVID-19 appears higher than for influenza, especially seasonal influenza. While the true mortality of COVID-19 will take some time to fully understand, the data we have so far indicate that the crude mortality ratio (the number of reported deaths divided by the reported cases) is between 3-4%, the infection mortality rate (the number of reported deaths divided by the number of infections) will be lower. For seasonal influenza, mortality is usually well below 0.1%. However, mortality is to a large extent determined by access to and quality of health care".
The above is what Google says about the matter CONTRARY to your nattering on the matter. I believe Google! :)

Isn't LESS deaths than the "estimated" number a good thing?? When this thiingstarted.......most leaders etc were literally"flying blind" ie it was an unknown entity.
Fly blind , panic , over react , and kill great sectors of the economy . Good plan . I bet taxi drivers from Brampton and Surrey will be having second thoughts about Liberal next time round . They are sure taking a beating .

Did anyone see his speech today?? Thoughts??

Thanks for the link, I think it was a well written speech and he has a pretty voice. It was typical politician speak, with lots of promises but time will tell. At least he sounds more reasonable than Trump in urging people to do their part to slow the spread.

and he is not divisive, fostering the we vs them mentality. which is so counter productive. ( Think Pharaoh Trump)

As you say: time will tell..
