30 years ago we had a handful of TV news "services" that ran at a financial loss for the most part.

Now its hundreds competing not for your attention to provide you with accurate information but solely to generate ad dollars through clicks and likes.

It is my understanding that anyone involved in health care undergo daily checks for the virus. No?
Hourly temperature checks and scheduled testing along with a "you watch my back, I'll watch yours" attitude.

25-30% or more have had the virus and got through with minimal symptoms thanks to early detection.

Do you have "drive thru" testing in BC yet?

They have them in Vancouver - I don't know about the Heartland - locally, no.

Is it always one extreme or the other with you? The choice is either someone like Trump or a man of the cloth? Wow.

And if you look around more women are entering into trades that were traditionally occupied by men and of course women have a presence in sports.

Don't pay any attention to him. The guy is supposedly a moderator and he's more childish than some of the worst offenders!

Rather than butting heads with JLM, you seem to be in possession of the truth around covid so why don't you "spread what you've learned far and wide." Wouldn't that be more productive in helping people?

What he's trying to spread far and wide is that he is the National expert on the matter (and I think it's about to backfire) :)

Seems to me that if someone was in possession of such learned knowledge that they could serve a far more productive purpose than screaming at people about it. I say they show their hand, otherwise it looks to be nothing other than bravado.

Did anyone happen to catch Trump in the ABC town hall tonight? He was grilled by undecided voters on a number of subjects including covid. I found he was amazing in his ability of answering a question without answering it at all. So theres one for ya Twin_Moose, something Trump did that he was good at. One more each and we'll be tied!

Pretty aggressive for a moderator. Makes one wonder what may be lacking in other areas.

Pete was probably just having a bad day. I always got along with him for the past 10 years. I know he suffers with M.S. & I wouldn't even want to think about "walking a mile in his shoes". Probably best just to "stay away" from him for awhile.
