Not that I've noticed! The test of "mandatory" is penalties for any infractions.
I have worn a mask exactly twice since the start of the pandemic . Once for a hair cut , and once with this goofy thing Starbucks was passing out . I have yet to test positive.

Hey, there's a first time for every. I don't see wearing the mask as a big deal, when I'm in town especially in stores I wear the mask, whatever else it's not going to do me any harm and one upside is people tend to be friendlier toward you and treat you better. Listen to the experts aka Dr. Bonnie Henry.

W.T.F. don't you turn the news on, Walter and get the real story instead of perpetuating your bull shit. Fla. is worse right now than N.Y. was the height of the infection.
NY's werst day had over 700 deaths. FL hasn't come anywhere near that, 133 comes to mind, and FL has larger, older population than NY.

I have not received any undo hassle or bad fibs for not wearing a mask . Except for not dining out I am pretty much doing the same as always , as most people are . It seems to me somewhere in the neighborhood of 15% wearing masks . That is just an observed guess .

Florida health nightmare is unfolding exactly as everyone said it would.

Here is the curve of cases:

April 1 - 7K

May 1 - 21K

June 1 - 48K

July 1 - 160K

This is what happens when you do not practice rigorous social distancing

Miami Dade positve rate is 28%

48 Florida ICU hospitals at capacity.

The governor of this state should be arrested

It's hard to give a shit when you have a leader who doesn't give a shit, added to getting support from the likes of a few dough heads, at least one of which is on this forum. :)

I've said this from the beginning of the Dumpster's tenure, he is there to dismantle the American Empire and he is doing a great job at it, if not intentionally, by gross incompetence.

Since schools in America were closed in March the covid rate is higher in 45 states.

And Trump wants schools reopened.

So McConnell is working on a magical bill that will indemnify business and government from liability in the whole covid thing.

That's the important part: that nobody gets sued over making people sick.

As if.
