Roger Stone: President Trump 'saved my life'

Roger Stone says Donald Trump saved his life by commuting his prison sentence Friday night.

"The president has saved my life," Stone said, "And he's given me the opportunity to fight for vindication."

He previously had said that any period in a federal prison would amount to a death sentence, given the coronavirus pandemic and his health problems: "I'm 67 years old. I had very, very severe asthma as a child. If you look at the profile of those who are most at risk, I think I fit that," he said.

While he expressed his gratitude for Trump's decision, Stone says it didn't come as a shock.

"Well I was, I was elated," he said Friday night outside his Fort Lauderdale, Florida, home surrounded by onlookers. "Obviously I was somewhat relieved, but I was not surprised."

There is nothing in this article that is a surprise, and not sure what you meant by "should be safe" as there was no risk of danger in opening and reading it. To form an opinion one has to consider hearing from all parties, would you agree? I saw no harm in reading the article and in fact have read numerous since this story broke. Even saw the video on Twitter of Stone doing a celebratory dance, he has some pretty good moves.

He legally has to accept it but he donates back to different agencies when it is issued, He'll make all his money back when he gets out of office. like every other ex POTUS

Yeah, I wasn't under the impression he was donating it to charities for abused women!
