The UK started this problem in Palestine

The rich Rothschild bribed the UK to give them a promise to establish their Zionist entity in Palestine (at that time under the mandate of UK, following the WWI)

At that time, the UK was in much need of money and financial support, after emerging from a major world war.

Moreover, the Balfour declaration itself stressed that the rights of the Palestinian should not be trespassed... and it did not indicate giving all Palestine to the Zionists.

This is the Balfour Declaration:
