Which is why Trump said there are very nice people on both sides when asked about Charlottesville. He even said America couldn't beat the CoronaVirus because it knew KungFu. He actually called the virus KungFlu.
Bolton wrote in his book Trump asked Xi Ping for help in his re-election. But when the KungFlu arrived to destroy Trump's political enemies. Trump tried to take credit and that backfired. The CDC identified the KungFlu virus was actually coming from New York a democratic state. So the blame shifted to the Democrates.
Cuomo swears the virus came from Europe and not China.
EU now plans to ban all Americans travelling to Europe.But it welcomes all Chinese. The plot is thickening!!

Yes all government departments should be solely concerned with the virus , even if that is not their mandate .

Trump knows his efforts to keep the virus out failed miserably. He thinks building a wall to keep the virus in will get him the Nobel peace prize since the North Korea deal flopped too. The rational being Americans staying at home and social distancing can only be good for world peace.
Trump forgot it will be bad for the US economy to have Americans stay at home so he reverted back to building the wall to keep the American virus in.
He saw Xi Ping was dropped from the list for letting the virus out of his country. Trump vowed not to make the same mistake. Europe and Canada are helping Trump by keeping American in by introducing new travel bans on Ameticans or extending previous bans. Its called American isolationism or as Trump likes to see it as America first!!! Even on the pandemic ban list.
