Re: COVIDD-19 'Pandemic'

Well, we are now above 70,000 deaths from Covid-19.

But in the 2018-2019 flu season, there were almost half as many deaths! So there's nothing to worry about!

END THE MILD RESTRICTIONS!

Morris Dancing for the socially isolated

Covid-19 May Day Lockdown Morris Dance

The Morris Dance 'Saturday Night' being danced at the Hemlock Stone, in Nottinghamshire. The video was taken at dawn on May Morning 2020.

The 1st of May 2020 was the 1st year, in nearly 50 years, that the Foresters Morris Men did not dance at dawn on May Day. This was due to the Coronavirus/Covid-19 outbreak and the consequent lockdown.

To keep the tradition alive one of the Foresters went down to the Hemlock Stone and danced three dances as the sun came up over the Hemlock Stone.

Hopefully the Foresters will once again be at the Robin Hood statue in Nottingham for May Day morning 2021!

Flu causes 650,000 deaths every year.

Misleading!

Influenza causes anywhere from 290,000 to 650,000 deaths per year.

In the last six week, COVID has killed 250,000 people.

At this rate, the number of fatalities from COVID in 2020 could be approximately 2,000,000 people or more.

Really shut down the world wide economy because one is to many . When did we start becoming scared to wake up in the morning .?

Easy to say unless YOU are the one. A little consideration doesn't hurt!

Herd mentality will work. There is no concrete evidence that people that have had a bout with COVID, can become infected a second time. There was some debate about this earlier on, when it appeared some people in South Korea contacted COVID twice, but it was found that the people received false positives a second time around.
Bad testing.

I do.
Morris dancing is one of our great English traditions.
The earliest known and surviving English written mention of Morris dance is dated to 1448 and records the payment of seven shillings to Morris dancers by the Goldsmiths' Company in London.

You liking a bunch of fairie boys dancing around in pansie clogs doesnt surprise me at all.

Under that logic, the UK lost Ireland, Palestine, India, Canada, Australia, half of Africa, and 98% of their territory from the 19th century.

Hundreds of other empires around the world over the millennia have come to an end, too. Hardly unusual. Empires don't last forever. The British Empire just happened to be the biggest.
