The incidents of domestic violence are on the rise in the US........as per several reports from CNN etc.


The ingredients for that are a proclivity for violence, not being able to deal with stress. stress factors could include insufficient money , creating tensions , arguments. add to that being stuck at home together........when the relationship was probably dysfunctional anyhow.

Social restrictions on people sitting on a park bench or walking on a beach don't make biological sense according to an infectious diseases expert.


Professor Peter Collignon from the Australian National University medical school said if people stay two metres apart it should be adequate social distancing.


Professor Collignon's comments come as NSW and Victoria introduce strict social restrictions.



"You are safer outside than inside," he said. "I do not see how anyone's going to get this virus if they keep two metres away from someone and I don't see how anyone's going to get it if they sit on a park bench."


Beach parties should certainly be broken up, Professor Collignon, of the Australian National University medical school, said. But it made no sense to stop people walking on the beach, or pausing on the beach to rest.


"These are panic decisions not decisions based on data," he said.


After concern about crowds on Bondi in Sydney, beaches have been closed in some parts of the country, and stories have emerged of people being stopped by police when they attempt to walk along a beach.

Okay dumb ass. Sweden's population is 10.23 million and right now COVID-19 is killing 8% of their population, so that is about 818,400 people. They are changing from Herd Immunity to Quarantine.

The world population is 7,777,283,030 and 8% of that is 622,182,642 dead.

24,000 – 62,000 flu deaths would wide per year.

So fukk off and die already.

That is a false comparison.

How many have died of the flu in the same number of months as the virus has been active?? Is the flu and cold as actively contagious and do they cause a pneumonia like effect on the lungs. You see it is not the same medical dynamic at all. It more comparable to a serious pneumonia than a flu or cold. Don't forget this is a new virus. We all are learning about it everyday.

818,000 people have not died in Sweden. If that was the case, it would - by a magnitude of about four - be the worst hit country in the world.

Officially, the Swedish death toll is only about 919 but, considering how inaccurate the deaths tolls are due to different countries having different methods of recording them, it could be less.

That may be so, but the official number of dead is only 118,000 - but it's almost certainly far lower.

Flu, only the other hand, kills 650,000 every year - and we have no lockdown. It's not even reported in the media.
