He hands out a few billion to the oil companies, some of it snapped up by outfits as they run for the border, lowers the corporate tax rate and then goes whining to Ottawa for help. Sure was a busy travel day on B.C.Ferries Thursday from my understanding .

Not like the media was told to make it out to be. To start with there are no ferries from Horseshoe Bay to Nanaimo. There have been sailings cancelled on the other two routes as well. The rest of the ferries are limited to 50% of passenger capacity, so 98% full really only represents 49% of normal.

It's the Macleans that gets a high score for factual reporting. The also score center/left for editorial bias if that's what you're after, but if you're going to suggest that they are lying then I'm going to suggest that your own political bias is getting in the way of truth.

It's awful hard to find a totally unbiased media source these days, but there is a distinction to be made between biased and dishonest. You have to develop some skill at sifting through opinions for reliable information. I spent a few years as a bartender, that helped a lot in learning to separate pertinent information from the fill.



What I'm saying here is that Jason Kenney is one to keep your eye on. His ethics have been questioned on more than a few occasions and he is, after all, a politician.

There were bits and pieces on a lot of BC media platforms in the last couple of days relating to how many have put isolating on the back burner for the long weekend. Pleas from small towns with limited medical resources for non-residents to stay away, comments on the number of out-of-province license plates on the roads, and yes, full ferries. It will be interesting to see if there is any sort of spike in new infections in the coming couple of weeks.

If there isn’t they will have a hard time keeping the lock down in place . Most people I speak with have had enough and don’t really see the huge raise in cases here in the lower mainland . Since the first outbreaks in North Vancouver care homes , despite the fact we have a large Chinese and Iranian community with much travel between these hotspots even after the virus was known and spreading we have had little growth in numbers . All the provincial and federal parks are closed yet the municipal and regional parks are open . Curious , we are paying the parks employees to stay home . But of course the parking lots at the regional parks are full . The cycle trails are full . I drove by an obscure hiking trailhead on Sumas Mountain yesterday , normally one or two cars at most , yesterday twenty five , I have never seen that many there . The supermarkets and Costco are lined up around the block with all the social distancing in place , only so many permitted in stores at a time . ,Yup the same idiots still reach around you to grab items off the shelf , clog the aisles so no one can safely pass . Yikes why are we all dead ?

I agree. I'm in BC's southern interior and I'm seeing the same thing here. Folks are just tired of staying inside and are out an about a lot more. It might just be a visibility thing because a lot of people are out of work and have time on their hands, but where I'm sitting at the moment I have a window that looks out over a green space and popular walking & biking routes and it's very busy. granted it's a long weekend with some nice sunny spring weather but I ust get the feeling more people are coming out. The numbers Dr. Bonnie has been releasing give cause for cautious optimism, but she says over and over again it's too early to let our guards down. If the numbers in the coming weeks don't reflect the relaxing of recommended protocols then it's going to be harder and harder to maintain any sort of commitment from the general public.

It is sure time to end this plandemic game once and for all. I cannot see it lasting for another few more weeks. Then the shit should hit the fan as the days get warmer and sunny. Our dear comrade leaders are going to have a problem on their hands, and I hope that it turns out o be a big one for them. What a bunch of political buffoons we keep electing.
