There have been several puff pieces in main stream media about how to “restart” the economy once Wuhan Virus is defeated and these articles suggest we will be living in a new and different economic world after the Pestilence is beaten!
This question of how to “restart” the economy is LIE-beral speak meaning “How will we get the HOG GRAVY TRAIN BACK ON TRACK” in our bankrupt economy!
The writers of such pieces IGNORE the economic reality on their doorsteps! The truth is we were slipping into that changed economic world BEFORE Wuhan Virus appeared - and that new world will not and cannot be kind to Cdn LIE-berals!
In the year before Wuhan Virus appeared - 90% of Cdns VOTED for and elected Conservative minded provincial premiers! In that same time period - Our idiot Boy had his Majority govt removed by voters - to be replaced by a Minority govt - with the idiot cousins of NDPee and Greenies rapidly eroding LIE-beral support!
The massive new array of debts being accumulated by ALL FOUR of our levels of govt will hamstring free spending LIE-berals for decades to come! LIE-berals of many sorts - such as LIE-beral strategist Jim Warren, socialist airhead Linda McQuiag and economist Sheila Block at the Fraser Institute had all repeatedly stated - prior to 2019 - various versions of this LIE-beral homily: “that our debts are manageable as long as we do not get any major new economic shocks”!
And oh dear - Wuhan has provided the dreaded SHOCK - and then some!
In 2018, prior to the Ontari-owe provincial election, we were warned that re-election of Wynne-bag LIE-berals would result in serious down grading of Ontari-owe debt and the imposition of fiscal penalties till we returned to sensible spending!
Wynne-bag LIE-berals were defeated as a result of their $16 billion dollar provincial deficit for 2018! Yet as a result of the Ford govt fight against Wuhan Virus - Ontari-owe is now looking at a $20 billion dollar 2020 deficit! We have been FORCED to put aside sensible spending ideas and instead to spend whatever is necessary to prevent many people from choking to death on Wuhan Virus due to lack of respirators!
Other provinces are in a similar boat to Ontari-owe - normal budget constraints are FORGOTTEN in the rush to save lives and control the Pestilence!
And what of natives and the energy sector and Alberta Wexit? LIE-berals have lost control of that stuff! Prior to Wuhan Virus - LIE-berals were fighting a slow retreat on fossil fuel energy issues! LIE-beral attempts to give prominence to a minority of “hereditary chiefs” ahead of ELECTED native officials WAS A FAILURE! The native majority spoke and LIE-berals were forced to listen and the result was resumption of pipeline construction!
That the pipeline work and oil and natural gas industries have pretty much collapsed FOR THE TIME BEING is only a news worthy story IN THE SHORT TERM! Once the Wuhan Pestilence is past then people WILL RESUME travelling and playing with their fossil fuelled toys! Oh sure- with all the horror stories about stranded passengers on cruise ships - there may be a LOT of people who stay closer to home during holidays - but that WILL BENEFIT our local economy!
And as I have noted before - there are many people in the world who would prefer to buy Cdn fossil fuel because we use our oil revenue to pay for hospitals while Red China and Russian Czar Putin and the Iranian nuclear nutbars use their oil revenue to buy weapons to threaten their neighbours!
Cdn fuels will have growing appeal on international markets - if only we could get the stuff TO THOSE MARKETS! And LIE-berals are going to be FORCED to market our oil - simply to gain every available penny to service our sudden new $200 plus billion dollar 2020 deficit! We owed billions to Washington, to Germany and to Japan and all 3 countries were having fiscal issues BEFORE Wuhan arrived!
United States was finding it hard to bear the price to defend the free world when so much of its cutting edge technology was being stolen by Red China and Iran! United States has found itself in the same sort of position it was in during the 1930`s - with dictatorships being able and willing to build up military forces while Washington is forced to ask nicely for needed funds!
The Chinese annexation of the Paracel Islands in the South China Sea - and other islands claimed by FIVE other nations - along with unilateral Chinese declarations regarding how far its territorial waters stretch - into BOTH formerly international waters and into areas claimed by other govts - is a stark warning that Beijing does NOT intend to play fair!
The recent sinking of a Vietnamese fishing boat in waters unilaterally claimed by China in spite of protests from 5 other area govts is another indicator of how Beijing Butchers intend to operate in future! Beijing claims the Viet fishing boat DELIBERATELY RAMMED a Chinese naval vessel that confronted the Viet boat in those unilaterally CLAIMED CHINESE WATERS and as a result of damage suffered in the collision the Viet boat sank! At least the Chinese were good enough to rescue the fishermen whose boat they destroyed!
And the controversy over Huawei and its poisoned technology laced with all manner of DANGEROUS spy gear has NOT gone away! Our idiot Boy Justin has STILL NOT screwed up his courage to tell us what he plans to do about Huawei CEO Meng - currently whiling away the hours in her luxurious Vancouver mansion - while “the two Michaels -Spavour and Kovrig” continue to ROT in Chinse solitary confinement cells!
Our idiot Boy dithers over Huawei even though HE HAS BEEN WARNED by our major allies that Cdn acceptance of Huawei technology will SERIOUSLY DAMAGE our security arrangements with our suddenly FORMER long term allies!
The amount of disinformation coming out of Beijing regarding the origins of the Wuhan Virus; coupled with Chinese apathy about regulating so called “wet markets” where all manner of bush meat is sold - and which are the SOURCE of Sars. Bird Flue. Swine Flu and now Wuhan Virus - will also persuade western govts not to be so trusting of Beijing in the future! Those wet markets - which Beijing promised to regulate and limit much more heavily are a SORE POINT for the rest of the world!
Beijing Butchers would PREFER if their people ate potentially tainted locally raised bush meat rather than let them have cleaner and more costly Cdn Pork since Beijing needs all the pennies it can get to BUY WEAPONS to bully people with!
The wet markets produced SARS as a result of Chinese treating wild Civet Cats as a food source! And now we have Wuhan Virus as a result of Chinese using Fruit Bats that CARRY Wuhan Virus - as a yet another food source!
In fact all manner of Chinese food handling and production is now HIGHLY SUSPECT - thanks to the emergence of Swine Flue on Chinese Hog farms and to the appearance of Bird Flu on Chinese Poultry farms - with both Swine and Bird Flu`s coming perilously close to becoming Pandemics comparable to Wuhan Virus in their own right!
Further, there have been repeated complaints about toxic products from China - especially in kids toys -with various cheap and highly toxic heavy metals such as Lead and Antimony being found during random product tests! In addition, Chinese producers of metal and plastic containers for food and other products have demonstrated a dangerous habit of allowing cheaper but more toxic materials to sneak into the manufacturing process!
Chinese indifference to food quality was fully on display during their Melamine Milk Crisis during which thousands of Chinese babies DIED after drinking milk laced with the chemical Melamine! One wonders at the mental state of a company CEO who would add Melamine PAINT to milk in exchange for modest profit!
In related news - our Cdn govt has cut down nearly 10 million Ash trees as a result of Chinese carelessness regarding the use of lumber infested with Emerald Ash Borer Beetles! The Chinese refused to kiln dry or to properly air dry the lumber they were cutting for shipping crates - citing cost saving measures - and thus the beetles got a free ride in that infested wood over to North America - an environment in which they have NO natural enemies and VIRTUALLY NO LIMIT to the number of trees they can infest and KILL!
The import of Emerald Ash Borer has been an environmental HEADACHE - with Beijing simply SNEERING at the west for allowing import of the crates and the beetles!
When our economy eventually restarts - it seems UNLIKELY that business as usual will return between China and the West!
Our idiot Boy will also be hamstrung in his immigration policy as we simply WILL NOT have the cash needed to import a horde of illegals whose education and language skills prevent them from surviving in Canada without major doses of govt aid! We will be to busy paying down massive debt to take on new charity cases!
In a related issue - where will the cash come from to maintain our BADLY run down stock of not so “affordable housing”? And how will we afford to build any more of it?
In addition the shortage of cash is going to create major friction between LIE-berals and their FORMERLY most staunch supporters! Prior to Wuhan Virus there was ALREADY FRICTION between civil service union HOGS and others regarding what gravy HOGS were entitled to! With LIE-berals FORCED to choose between repairing ESSENTIAL infrastructure such as affordable housing, schools and roads or to turn and BUY HOG VOTES to ensure LIE-beral re-election! Thanks to the massive new debts we are incurring - that friction will get MUCH WORSE - with impoverished members of the general public demanding govt penny pinching from LIE-berals frantically trying to BUY enough votes to retain some power!
The LIE-beral love affair with electric TOY cars is now virtually DEAD! Bankrupt govts that are exploring RECORD NEW LEVELS of debt simply lack the cash needed to BRIBE us into accepting the COSTLY electric TOY Cars!
IN addition - groups like the Swedish “Flight Shame” will be QUICK to point out how quickly our air cleared up as a result of the shutting down of airports! The Swedes make the VALID POINT that the quickest way to alleviate our so called Climate Emergency is to severely restrict air travel since it is BY FAR the dirtiest way to move either good or people!
In related news - environmental groups like Flight Shame may get around to noticing the UNHOLY relationship between LIE-berals and HOGS and deficit financing that is being used to BUY HOG votes - with HOGS then using the govt gravy to hop on planes and produce HUGE MASSES of pollution while jetting off to sunny climes! And of course after the HOGS return home they turn and support the LIE-beral carbon tax SCAM that is expected to curtail the life style of ALL CDNS - EXCEPT FOR HOGS - who fully expect the Carbon SCAM to produce the gravy they need to maintain THEIR comfortable lives!
The LIE-beral habit of borrowing gravy to buy HOG votes is another nasty habit that will LIKELY DIE as a result of Wuhan Virus!
LIE-berals are facing an EXISTENTIAL THREAT to the continued survival of their poisoned and self serving policies! This of course is why Our idiot Boy was so determined to SHUT DOWN our Parliament until December 2022 - using his political POWER GRAB not so well hidden inside his Wuhan Aid Package! Our idiot Boy was attempting a Political Coup - in TYPICAL Soviet Socialist Dictator style!
