Seriously? Everything is racist to an internet preacher.

I never said that and I never said testing people coming in is racist. Insisting on labelling a virus by race however can lead to racial discrimination.

That's f-cked. The least protected people in Canada.

Send in the Army and rent a hockey arena for storage until they can dig thru the frost.

In the absence of the PM, Communities Secretary Robert Jenrick is currently conducting the government's daily coronavirus briefing at Downing Street.

The UK death toll now officially stands at 1228, 209 more than yesterday, but not the biggest daily rise yet. On Saturday, there were 260 new deaths recorded.

Seems like we could have hit the peak and now it's starting to recede.

If Trump is bad for wanting the country moving by Easter, what does that make China that are back up to 95% company's reopening for business already
'They are completely intertwined': Tentative signs of recovery in China help some Canadian companies weather COVID-19 storm

After three months and that's still probably to early.

The US could be at 10,000 deaths a day in two weeks.

We had co-pay or perhaps a better term would be deductible at one time in BC. I think it was $25. But the socialist government of the 1990s decided the cost might make low income think twice about seeking medical attention when they really needed it. Conveniently forgetting that the fee was waived or paid for welfare recipients.
If your point is "governments are stupid," you won't hear no argument from me.

There is something different about Asian culture, that makes it easier to curtail the virus. North America and Europe are far more individualistic than the East. We also enjoy more personal freedoms. However, this has exposed a crack on our system. People are so used to doing what they want, and living with certain excesses, that a significant percentage of the population will be too selfish to adhere to quarantine measures.

Well, well, well....
"We have coordinated with U.S. organizations to transport more humanitarian relief to people in Wuhan. Personal protective equipment and other medical supplies donated by these organizations can help save lives in #China and help protect people from the Corona virus."
-Pompeo via tweet

He even shows pallets of the supplies being off loaded like pallets of cash and emails.

Where is the investigation?

What happened to you to flip your switch to anti-American (North American) China and Russia are not being fully truthful with their fight against the Corona virus just so they can get ahead of the world in manufacturing and rebooting their economies.

Great! The 'Lil Potato will start coming out of hiding now

Sophie Grégoire Trudeau says she has recovered from COVID-19

Did the Lib's realize this reality when they signed on to the stupid UN resolution to harbour all immigrants from around the world?

Canada could face legal trouble over refugee deportations: advocates

No wonder Tator tot and Freeland were begging the Trump administration to not deport illegals turned back from Canada, until they can reopen illegal ports of entry.

If that is true and it may be they will pay the price with a second outbreak.

Re: COVIDD-19 'Pandemic'

The Netherlands has recalled 600,000 coronavirus face masks it imported from China after discovering they were faulty

I wonder if the donated equipment is of the same quality that the world is sending back to China?

China Donates Medical Supplies To Canada To Fight COVID-19: Embassy

I've said it before that facemasks are largely useless in preventing viruses.

They are supposed to be used to stop you from breathing in hazardous small particles, such as dust, mould or aerosol paint particles.

Most facemasks stop at least 95 percent of particles measuring 0.3 microns.

The coronavirus is 0.125 microns by comparison. It can easily pass though facemasks.

And then there's the fact that many users don't wear the mask correctly. For example, you should have no facial hair when wearing one. Even just a day's growth will make the mask less effective.

A human hair is 50 microns thick. So around 500 coronaviruses could span the width of a human hair.
