B.C. suspends evictions, offers renters' rebate of up to $500 a month

The B.C. government has announced it's suspending all "current and future evictions" until the COVID-19 crisis has passed. Premier John Horgan said the province is also providing a renters' rebate of up to $500 a month for four months to ensure landlords can "continue to see some revenue coming in."

you understand that polio has been wiped out?

vaccines have all but eliminated many diseases. They tend now to be confined to primitive places where vaccines are not available. Like Alabama.

There are people that refuse to have their kids vaccinated because of "beliefs" of one kind or another.......so some of these diseases are coming back.

In 77 years of receiving various vaccines I've NEVER had one to my knowledge that doesn't work. One exception is the pneumonia vaccine only covers one type of pneumonia. I got fooled on that one years ago which very nearly killed me. I think it might be for viral pneumonia only!

Saskatchewan reveals flights with passengers with COVID-19

The Government of Saskatchewan has posted a list of 14 flights that carried a passenger who has since tested positive for COVID-19 in the province.

All but two of the flights listed, which range from March 5 to March 19, also cite rows that are expected to have been affected by the person who tested positive.

The post on the province’s website asks those affected to self-isolate and self-monitor for symptoms of COVID-19 for 14 days.

Six of the flights landed at John G. Diefenbaker International Airport in Saskatoon from locations including the Dominican Republic, Cuba, Mexico, Las Vegas, Calgary and Toronto. Another five of the flights landed at Regina International Airport from Mexico, Edmonton, Calgary, Toronto and Vancouver.

The remaining three flights are connecting flights that landed in Edmonton, Toronto and Calgary from various destinations.
