No it isn't. He is only concerned ab out the e economy.......and is terrified that "his wonderful" economy might suffer It is far too premature. He is far too impatient. and does not grasp the seriousness of the situation.
Thanks for the real time tracker.
Don't hear much about NZ. How are things there??
Hi Breeze,

No working except health and emergency services, no movement except to buy food, not even allowed to take the boat out!
Check out todays "Stuff".

We have no deaths, 205 cases, all peeps from overseas, returning Kiwis, except for 4 home grown cases.
The govt is actually paying wages to keep people from working.

Re: COVIDD-19 'Pandemic'

Having old people get up early and rushing them out the door is good?

Actually yes! They can get to the store while it's still relatively quiet and clean and well stocked, not to mention they can avoid being shoved and jostled by greedy young brats!

Do you want to get up at 5:30 to be at a store for 7?

Are you fully mobile? Are you riding a bus 30 mins each way? Can you carry you groceries to and from the bus?

Hi back at ya.

Thanks for the info about NZ. It is great getting a feel for the situation directly from someone that lives there.Like most responsible countries , sounds like you are buttoning down and following protocol. Some folks here are still hoarding........a sign of fear / anxiety .....and greed ;-) Toilet paper is worth more than gold at the moment ;-)
Stay healthy, safe....... and keep coming back here as it is so nice to see you.

White House, Senate reach deal on emergency aid package to send money directly to many Americans as economy reels from pandemic
The legislation’s price tag is $2 trillion, the largest bailout in history. The bill would aid small and large businesses hard hit by the economic downturn. The Senate hopes to pass it quickly.

Leaked SHA document shows worst-case scenario outcome of coronavirus in Sask

Key Takeaways on Incoming Demand

Early social distancing will delay and lessen the peak of theoutbreak

However, even under conservative assumptions, COVID-19 willalmost certainly overwhelm the health system

There will likely be pronounced loss of life and health

Estimates over the course of the event

30% infection rate (300,000)

Of those, 80% at home (240,000)

15% require hospitalization (45,000)

5% require ICU (15,000)

Fatality rate of 3-5% (9,000-15,000)

From Unist’ot’en Solidarity Brigade
Molly Wickham
“While most of us are hunkered down avoiding the spread of covid 19, CGL and RCMP are ramping up work on the territory and governments are patting Canada on the back for working so well together in a crisis.
MEANWHILE, REALITY CHECK= CGL continues to import workers on the territory bringing in pipe, clearing the right of way in Gidimten and Likhts'amisyu territory and transporting man camps around. RCMP continue to import and export CIRG members from all over the province to facilitate the deduction of our territories.
It's not a coincidence this is happening while I'm about to give birth, and while our people are preparing for discussions with government and now a pandemic. SICK SICK way to keep profit over people.
Way to go BC and Canada!!

While we are in self imposed isolation, the government is sending thousands of men to work on pipelines and Site C. Convenient, eh!
