Re: COVIDD-19 'Pandemic'

A number of retailers are opening their stores earlier than usual for seniors and handicapped and other needy people to get in first in the morning before the general public buys up all the toilet paper etc.

The sort of common sense solution that we need right now. That is woke capitalism.

When you go to the store and grab the handle to open the door.. you are aware the virus can live on surfaces for 12 hours. Opening the door in the store to pull out milk, or a coke.. ;)

You're fukked.

Glad to see an end to time-of-use hydro billing for 45 days, and an extension on the ban on electricity disconnection for homes and small businesses in Ontario,

Apparently the hospitals can no longer get them when they need them.

My friends and I threw style out the window and just opted for our good old Rubber Maid cleaning gloves. We simply wash them off in Isopropyl Alcohol and hang them up to air dry when we don't need them.

that would work very well too. A virus crisis is not a time for fashion runway ;-)

The alcohol is getting hard to find. at least in this vicinity. As are Lysol products and toilet paper. ..

Truth to tell, my friends and I also threw 'fashion' out the window awhile ago.

I've always had both on hand, stocking up is part of country life - the less trips to town the better, but I see I am getting low on the alcohol so will have to check next time I am in town. I have a local source for my TP. ;-)

Just talked to my neighbour outside, who's a nurse at the local hospital.....
Not a single case of co-vid in Kapuskasing
Gawd I'm glad sometimes I live this far up north
No floods

No hurricanes
No global warming
Life would be ideal if I didn't have so much snow to shovel...

Don't worry. I am sure it will have melted by June.
