Ironically the number of illegal immigrants working in the U.S. was on the news today. I wish I had paid attention to exact number but it was in excess of 4 million. It doesn't take a huge imagination to realize there was a number of children involved and it doesn't take a huge imagination to surmise that among the 4 million plus there was a certain amount of criminality. I suppose if you go by the letter of the law it wouldn't be a stretch to conclude there were 4 plus million criminals involved. Would reasonable people expect Trump to just close both eyes. That's one of the reasons I kind of like Trump, I suppose he has to over look some bull sh*t, but at least he tries to address some of it. What would a reasonable person expect him to do with children of felons who end up being incarcerated? Cliffy should get this "pie in the sky" bull shit out of his head!
Okay, I do agree with you on some of what you stated. I have actually agreed with some of Trump's views on immigration. It is something that needs better vetting and yes there is a criminal element that finds its way in, it would be foolish of me to deny that. That is a part of immigration that needs closer attention in any country that allows for it.
I don't know if all the children in detention camps/holding facilities are children of criminals but regardless, they are children. And the fact that they are separated from their parents and that some have fallen victim to abuse and neglect shouldn't be overlooked. They end up being dual victims in a sense. Victims of their parents who bring them, I'm assuming with no other choice, exposing them to possible detention and if so, falling victim perhaps again to those who would want to bring them harm. I don't know if the Trump administration is addressing this problem of abuse and neglect. I'd like to think no one is heartless to the point of allowing children to be treated in an ill manner.
