Harmless? You poor, oblivious slug. He's already caused farmers' bankruptcies, put kids in cages without their parents, incited violence, etc.
Can you even think about the nonsense you say?

You call them cages, in fact they are actually "gated compounds" for their safety from what I've seen. I wish you people would try to stay away from the hyperbole! It detracts from your credibility!

Yup, they are safe alright. They get sexually molested, starved, lack medical care and die... you really don't have a clue.

If what you say is true you should be able to provide a list of the ones who have been molested or died. Hint - there is bound to be newspaper reports.

For clarity's sake, you want the US government to release to the public the names of minors who were sexually abused? Is that common practice? I recall a few claims were given the go ahead last year however I don't know the outcome.

John and Jane Dows would be good enough accompanied by place names and date of birth and a brief description of the circumstances. (I just get tired of Cliffy's chronic and habitual exaggerations) :)

I think that some of that info was given, in countries of origin and ages as well. I don't believe this claim was an exaggeration on Cliffy's part. The tough thing is that some of these claims may yes be false but what a disservice that does to the legitimate cases that may be dismissed because of that. The individuals that make false claims really hurt the people who were genuinely abused.

Ironically the number of illegal immigrants working in the U.S. was on the news today. I wish I had paid attention to exact number but it was in excess of 4 million. It doesn't take a huge imagination to realize there was a number of children involved and it doesn't take a huge imagination to surmise that among the 4 million plus there was a certain amount of criminality. I suppose if you go by the letter of the law it wouldn't be a stretch to conclude there were 4 plus million criminals involved. Would reasonable people expect Trump to just close both eyes. That's one of the reasons I kind of like Trump, I suppose he has to over look some bull sh*t, but at least he tries to address some of it. What would a reasonable person expect him to do with children of felons who end up being incarcerated? Cliffy should get this "pie in the sky" bull shit out of his head!

Okay, I do agree with you on some of what you stated. I have actually agreed with some of Trump's views on immigration. It is something that needs better vetting and yes there is a criminal element that finds its way in, it would be foolish of me to deny that. That is a part of immigration that needs closer attention in any country that allows for it.

I don't know if all the children in detention camps/holding facilities are children of criminals but regardless, they are children. And the fact that they are separated from their parents and that some have fallen victim to abuse and neglect shouldn't be overlooked. They end up being dual victims in a sense. Victims of their parents who bring them, I'm assuming with no other choice, exposing them to possible detention and if so, falling victim perhaps again to those who would want to bring them harm. I don't know if the Trump administration is addressing this problem of abuse and neglect. I'd like to think no one is heartless to the point of allowing children to be treated in an ill manner.

Thousands of migrant children were sexually abused in U.S. custody, HHS docs say

https://www.latimes.com/nation/la-na-migrant-child-border-deaths-20190524-story.html

Why are migrant children dying in U.S. custody?

"Children are not like adults. They get sick more quickly and each hour of delay can be associated with serious complications," says a doctor.

Yer right, I did not exaggerate. JLM and the other Trumpites have a whole lot of blind spots when it come to Trump, the megalomaniac.

For their safety, my dairy airy. How is separating kids from their parents safe? Any idiot with some high-school level of psychology knows kids need stability and security.

I see you are afraid to admit it.

So? Trump's actions never caused any bankruptcies? According to Dale Moore, executive vice president of the American Farm Bureau Federation, tariffs are always a factor. https://www.npr.org/2019/11/10/778097948/farm-bankruptcies-surge
So, even if he didn't, how does that prove he is harmless?
I never suggested life is rosy for farmers , their collective debt load has risen billions in the last couple of years , and the number of farmers are certainly dropping , but these trends are not new and didn’t begin with Trump .. I never had any idea of any of this prior to researching the bankruptcy thing .
