So Trump has made it public ........what I have suggested several times. His desire to be POTUS for life............and then probably followed by his sons etc. He has tasted real power and is going to hang on to it............. it is only a matter of how he will do it now.........we alrady know that he has no boundaries of follows no laws...........so it is anyone's guess.
His supporters would go with that........suggesting that they are tired of democracy as it has been working until now........and would opt for something a lot more authoritarian. Trump is not joking.........he does not joke..........he does not have any sense of humor He operate on the divide and conquer principal and it is noteworthy to see just how divided the nation is now...........ripe for manipulation by a tyrant. Trump is a tyrant by definition. He is divisive to his core The term United........in US is now a farce.
I have never in my memory seen a US more divided and hateful than it is now. Trump I have said on many occasions does not inspire, he incites. He has posted this video on other occasions as well and has later said it was a joke, but I agree with you, it's no joke. Trump is a master at normalizing things into his base's psyche, Russia hoax, fake news, enemy of the people etc. It is a slow dismantling of the norms and beliefs people once knew. I have no doubt many in his base would support a repeal of the 22nd amendment.

If you think she stood by Billie boy for any other reason than a chance at the Presidency, you are sadly mistaken and really have another think coming. That she did so knowing that he was a serial philanderer then blithely jumped on the me2 bandwagon shows nothing other than her utter hypocrisy. She took the issue out of the personal sphere and into the public eye when she gave many interviews wherein she consistently denied her hubby had done anything wrong despite all evidence to the contrary. By doing so, she became a legitimate target for criticism.

and yes the dismantling is taking place right in front of u.s standards are being trashed , ethics have no place , the law can be manipulated to suit a desired purpose..... fowl mouth behavior is acceptable , lies are the norm......Truth and facts are questioned.or branded as hoax......... enter the alternate reality of Trump world. The normalizing of the abnormal is quite dangerous..........and folks don't seem to realize what is happening. Yet it is taking over the US........... as is the nastiness...........filters are being torn to reveal the primal and even barbarian nature of folks.
..btw: Liked the fact that Nancy tore up the self ingratiating speach. THAT is the kind of "language trump understands. He interprets tact, diplomacy as favoringhim.
I had mixed reactions on Nancy tearing up his speech. On the one hand I thought it a clear message to him and his party that it was (for the most part) deservedly dismissed as divisive rhetoric while on the other hand I found that it somewhat sunk to a level that is beneath her. I was torn, no pun intended.
It's so funny how the progs have no sense of humour and take everything Trump says literally. Tis to laugh.
Those who laugh last, laugh best, Walter and one day those who do not support the man will do just that. It is beyond belief that he won't embroil himself in yet another controversy. Just a matter of time.
Yet it is the Democrat Party that still hasn’t let go of the last election . They were calling for his impeachment before he was even inaugurated, they propagated the Russian Collusion debacle and when the Mueller report showed that to be a dud , turned directly to Ukraine . And you worry about Trump ? Look at your party .
Maybe if the Democrats ran viable candidates you wouldn’t have these seizures.
And why I hold her in contempt . She sold her soul for the brass ring and America rejecting her was pure gold .
