I think everyone realizes he has some rough edges and is not perfect. With all the negative shit spread around about him I just don't see any sense in adding more. Virtually everyone has a good quality or two, when a lot of people get credit for that they tend to smarten up a bit. (Are you reading this, Sleepy?)

First there was Nixon. Then there was Clinton. Now there's Trump. Never would have believed I'd see impeachment hearings held against three Presidents in my lifetime............but there you go. Pretty interesting from an impartial observers point of view.

Rough edges is an understatement, and no, no one is perfect. I don't recall suggesting anyone is. You want to see negative shit about Trump toned down? How about Trump himself tone it down? I have not in my memory seen a President of the USA put out more negativity than Trump. Negative shit is spread around about him because he is consistently the source of said shit.

If he were just talking with nothing to back it up I would agree with you, but with texts, voice mails, e-mails etc to back up his claims well, that proof can't be dismissed. And is he trying to deal? Absolutely he is because that's what crooked thugs like him do and Trump and Giulaini should have known that from the get go.
