Mr Trump, they said, is "psychologically and mentally both dangerous and incapacitated" and has a presentation that is "consistent with a person who, when his falsely inflated self-image is questioned, or when his emotional need for adulation is thwarted, lashes out in an attempt to restore his sense of potency and command over others".
The group noted that while senior military leaders must pass yearly psychological evaluations, their commander-in-chief is exempt from such a requirement despite being "the person in most need and who is a maximum danger", and added that current tensions in the Middle East make this a "critical time", at which Americans "cannot wait any longer to deal with the dangerous situation caused by a mentally compromised person acting in erratic, reckless, impulsive, and destructive ways".

FBI tip led to Ontario terror take down

OTTAWA - Police say it was an FBI tip early Wednesday that alerted them to the "imminent threat" posed by Aaron Driver, who was later killed in a confrontation in Strathroy, Ont.
RCMP deputy commissioner Mike Cabana says the tip included a video of Driver, 24, and a warning that he planned to detonate a homemade explosive device in an urban centre during morning or afternoon rush hour.

Cabana says that while Wednesday's confrontation had a tragic end, it could well have had a "completely different ending" with a "significantly larger loss of life."
In the video, aired during a news conference in Ottawa, a masked Driver addresses the camera directly as he rails against western "enemies of Islam" and warns that the only solution would be the "spilling of your blood."
Cabana says Driver was shot by police in Strathroy after he left the house and got into a waiting taxi, where he apparently set off an improvised explosive device in the back of the cab.
Police also say the ongoing investigation has led them to a "secondary location" in the city of London, Ont., not far from Strathroy, where Driver had been living with his sister.
Driver, originally from Winnipeg, had been under a court order not to associate with any terrorist organization, among other restrictions.

On Wednesday police said Driver had detonated a bomb just after entering a taxi and it was after that police advanced and he died. The cause of his death was not immediately known.
