I fully agree with your rationale. Dumping a "red" on someone is like sniping from a roof top. I think it's much nicer to take 10 seconds and say "I disagree because...…………………………"
A big chunk of our hydro comes from tunnels diverting water from Lake Erie into turbines before it goes over Niagara Falls.What are you afraid of making you so rabid? Who's blackmailing whom? If it makes you feel any better, we also have some of that dirty Hydro out here with the dams destroying the ecosystems behind them creating methane & other nastiness from the flooded lands potentially creating more greenhouse gases than power generation from fossil fuels....but hopefully we can grow past that with clean natural gas and carbon capture & storage tech.

Actually, I don't but it could have been much better without all the scandals and corruption that went on. Trump is simply trying to clean it up and, unfortunately, he's the only one out there that has the balls to do it. While I wouldn't have picked him, (since his personal reputation wasn't the greatest) it takes someone like him who has the guts to do what needs to be done to clean up the swamp - and, btw, that's in BOTH parties! Trump isn't liked by either party but the people that voted him in were tired of all the B.S. and crossed their fingers that he would be different - and he is! He's doing exactly what he said he would which absolutely does not make him a politician! That's what has the swamp so angry - he doesn't owe anyone anything and he's bull-headed which is exactly what America needed.
Like him or not, he's accomplished a lot considering Congress refuses to work with him and have done absolutely nothing but try to reverse the 2016 result.

The only GOOD thing he's accomplished, that can't actually be debated, is ordering the death of Baghdadi and yet even THEN the announcement of it was... effin' HORRIFYING, and that's coming from a retired military intelligence officer that I follow who has more brains and experience about ME politics than Trump ever will. I'd trust this man to know more about anything than Trump, and he's not partisan to any party and will comment on the stupid of both sides if need be.
As for Scandals in the Obama White House - really? He was that much worse than Trump?

I guess there's a handful of us who recognize the benefits of Trump. Most of his detractors are wearing blinders. Just wish they'd shut up until they get their vision checked!
