I don't understand how the Liberal Party according the poll on CTVs page for example are still so close with the Conservatives.
If you look at anything online that Trudeau posts you see him getting roasted by everybody. This guy gets no respect from ANYONE.
How do people vote for a party whose leader is a clown?

They keep polling urban centers where there is a pretty even split of devoted supporters, split the urban and the Rural will carry Scheer to victory

POLL: Only 25% think Trudeau should get a second term

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Leader of the Liberal Party of Canada, arrives at the French debate for the 2019 federal election, the "Face-a-Face 2019" presented in the TVA studios, in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, on October 2, 2019. It’s not good news for Justin Trudeau and the Liberals as they head into the English language leaders debate on Monday night: Just 25% of the country believes he deserves to be re-elected.
That is one of the findings of a poll conducted for the Toronto Sun as part of the DART & Maru/Blue Voice Canada Poll.
When asked if it is time for a change in government or if the government deserved to be re-elected, 55% said it was time for a change compared to 25% who indicated Trudeau and the Liberals had done a good job. That number sits well below the percentage of the voting public that says they are likely to cast a ballot for the Liberals in two weeks time.
That’s a worrying figure for the Liberals, say polling experts, because it speaks to a less motivated voter base.
“This measurement is important because it oftentimes portends momentum for either supporters or those who oppose the incumbent government in getting to the ballot box,” said pollster John Wright, a partner at DART.
“This can be a critical dimension in a close race, as is the case right now, between the two major parties.”
Wright has been tracking this question for more than a year now with the Trudeau government and so far, they have yet to crack 30% saying they deserve to be re-elected.
The weak numbers on the deserve to be re-elected question also stretch across the country, although there are a few bright spots for the Liberals.
Among men, 59% say it’s time for a change while 24% say Trudeau deserves to be re-elected. Among women, just 51% say it’s time for a change and 26% says he deserves another term.
Across the country, the time of the change sentiment is at 50% or above in every province with Alberta being the highest at 74% and Ontario and Atlantic Canada sitting at 50%.

In Ontario, just 29% said that Trudeau deserves another term.
Trudeau’s main bright spot is Toronto where 42% say he has done a good job and deserves to be re-elected; that number sits at 32% in the Greater Toronto Area.
Conducted Oct. 1, 2019, the survey of 1,520 randomly-selected Canadian adults– all members of Maru/Blue’s online panel — is considered accurate to within 2.9%, 19 times out of 20.

I worked late, got home to let my dogs out, and then went out to meet family, & got home well after the debate was over and done. Out of all the debates, there's only three that the current PM is bothering to show up for (two in French for Quebec, and this one in English in Quebec), and timed so that most folks west of Ontario who work for a living are watching it after its over and done with on the Interwebs if at all...

My opinion now that I'm most of the way through this is that it's a dumpster fire of a goat rodeo at best, and a farce if I was being completely honest. It's like Canada is Ontario & Quebec, and maybe BC (parts of it anyway), and the other 7&1/2 Provinces and the Territories don't even matter.

Jagnut came off as fairly rational more or less and actually pretty congenial but way off to the fringe on several issues, and Mrs Green came off as a prissy nutjob. Max & Bloc-dude where just freaks though Bernier had a few good points to make after he started allowing the adults to speak later on into the debate. Justin and Andrew where the ones to watch when they weren't cutting each other off or being cut off by the other four involved. I admit that after watching the shenanigans and scandals and so on over the last four years that I have a bias against Justin and the Liberal Elite but wow.....Justin is just greasy, and Sheer came off as aggressive in his pursuit in referring constantly back to Trudeau being greasy....though Sheer did make some good points and demonstrated a sly sense of humor and showmanship I didn't realize was there...he does have a personality.

Why the Bloc has a voice in a National debate I just don't fathom, as I didn't see the Saskatchewan Party or other Provincial Specific Parties represented on a parallel footing as potential National Parties. Having Bloc-Guy in this debate didn't help towards national unity tonight. Why is the Bloc Quebecois even thought of as a National Party?

If Jagmeet hadn't stated weeks ago that he'd only support a minority Gov't if it was the Liberals and not the Conservatives...I think Singh & Sheer could compliment each other (they where mistaken for each other enough times tonight and it wasn't due to physical similarities) if the situation warranted it if they worked together but I guess that's not a reality, but they're the two most sane and sincere (& thus the reason they where confused with each other repeatedly) of the herd on stage tonight. Anyway, that's just my take on what I witnessed after the fact tonight.

I'd like to see the Conservatives take a small but significant majority (175-180 or so seats) October 21st, with the NDP doing better than anyone thinks they will, and the Liberals punished for the Elitist & Criminal BS for the last four years by getting about 25% or less of the vote, and Bernier not getting a single seat and the Greens getting their 2-3 seats...and the Bloc getting back to being fairly irrelevant on a national level as they're really a provincial party.

I just think that anyone thinking of getting rid of oil products any time soon is being completely unrealistic, so none of them have a viable platform.

Ya, not really.

But even if it was why would to put it in quotation marks?

Are you so stupid I have to draw you a map. I'll try once more. It doesn't translate correctly in the literal sense. The term "goose is cooked" means defeated. Savvy now?
