Donny Dipshit will probably be impeached.

He will never, ever be convicted. I've said this before, but let me reiterate. . .

It takes 67 senators to convict. There are currently 47 Democratic senators and 53 Republican senators. That means you would need 20 Republican senators to vote for conviction. I can see three or four Republicans, disgusted with Donny Dipshit's vileness and ready to retire anyhow, voting to convict. But not 20.

That don't make impeachment a futile exercise; it's an opportunity to dig into the stuff that's been going on in the Crazy House. But people who are hoping for President Pelosi are dreaming.

They should do a roll call to see if they have the numbers to start Impeachment instead of this keep fishing expedition, give The Don and the GOP a chance to fight back

He certainly won’t as long as congress refuses to hold a vote on impeachment.

They know they got nuttin so they are trying to control the message to either put a big dent in the Don's armour or get the Red state Dems. that were voted in in 2018 comfortable enough to support it.

Unlike you Cliffy I am neither fat or bald . And they tell me one is only how old you feel . After this sandwich I will go out and smell the roses and enjoy a beautiful fall day . It sure must suck not being able to get out and around in the wilderness you love so much . Probably the reason you are so grumpy .

She still has to get elected unless they choose to parachute her into the position in which case she'd have to face election eventually.

I’d tell you to confine your comments to things you know something about but...you know...

Going back to 1974 when Nixon was bounced (resigned) from office, Gerald Ford assumed the position until he won it in the election in 1976 and the Democrats (to my knowledge) had no say in the matter. Why would it be any different now? People have to remember impeachment and loss of position are two entirely different things. Is everyone just assuming that Biden is innocent?

This whole charade is about protecting Biden . That is why they will not hold a vote in Congress , to do so would give republicans a platform .

It's not Biden's innocence or guilt that is behind the impeachment.

It is about a sitting President soliciting the assistance of another country to spy on an American citizen, holding that country hostage by threatening to widthold aid (that had already been released) from them if they didn't do what he said.

In that wicky-wacky world of your decaying cerubellum, that be peachy keen but it isn't in the real world.

what was the whole charade when the republicans controlled the congress?

Speaker of the house, Pelosi, becomes POTUS if both the sitting POTUS and VPOTUS are incapacitated. No need for a vote.

What would be the chance of that happening? 1/600?

From what I can tell from the Idiot box, Pence still looks pretty healthy!
