If you were born in Canada, you are automatically a citizen, unless you parents were British diplomats.....non?
A co-worker of mine was born in the U.S. to Canadian parents who were at the time working in the U.S.
The paperwork necessary to get his C.P.P & O.A.S. was something else!

In fact, I think it worse that you don't want your country in the EU than a Brexiteer doesn't want Britain in it. Because Brexiteers know what it's like being in it and you don't.
