Maintenance costs for a Tesla Model S over five years were at most $2,800 (if drivers don’t use the pre-paid maintenance package) as of 2017 while a Mercedes-Benz S-Class racks up $18,000 in maintenance bills and the BMW 7 Series costs about $17,000 over the same period, according to an analysis by a self-described Tesla enthusiast and “data geek.”

He's as full of shit as you are.

You think $11,074.71 CAD for brakes is cheap and at 5 years it's new battery time.

Even when they bring in tractor trailers to compare to Tesla (?!?)- they lie.

While the average car engine is only designed to last about 200,000 miles, the average semi engine will go approximately 1,000,000 miles. 75 percent of American communities depend solely on truck drivers to deliver goods and services.Feb 23, 2016

By all means let his compare Tesla to tractor trailers.

If only white people face discrimination and climate change is a hoax then that makes perfect sense

Evs in general never need brake jobs.

You seem to use Tesla to mean all EVs the way some people used to use the word Hoover to mean vaccum cleaner.

Really? Apparently it's problematic with Tesla.

I use Hoover to describe the Winnipeg Blue Bombers because they suck. I never use it to describe a vacuum because I'm not British.

Certainly older gasses could clock high mileage but those days are long gone. Planned obsolescence and made in China parts quality have seen to that.
