Tit for tat......is just juvenile.....silly and counterproductive.
The POTUS should be above that kind of pettiness. There are standards of behavior for leaders of nations.......and Trump fails miserably in most areas of diplomacy, tact, dignity, class. etc.
He managed one day with the royals without any serious gaffs. ..........while most on the planet who watched this.......were waiting for just such undignified conduct. He could learn from Charles........who has finessed the role of such social behaviors.
Will see how he conducts himself tomorrow when politics come into play. There is a vlaid reason why some refused to attend this dinner, and to meet with him during h is time in the UK.

What about Khan, mayor of the world's greatest city? Should he not be above such juvenile behaviour, too?

Trump tweeted about Khan just as he was coming into land at Stansted. He said that Khan should be trying to tackle London crime - which has spiralled under Khan - rather than attacking him.

As for there being a "valid reason" for the London Mayor and Labour leader Corbyn and Commons Speaker John Bercow and other lefties to refuse to attend the dinner - these are the same people who had no problem in attending the dinner during Xi Jinping's State Visit.

Trump state visit: US president turns down meeting with 'negative' Corbyn
https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-politics-48515506

Trump has said that if Marxist Corbyn becomes PM he will refuse to share security intelligence with him.

It shows just how dire things will be under a Marxist CND Corbyn Administration - not only becoming like Venezuela, but even your closest ally refuses to work with Britain.

I also have a feeling that Trump may put some pressure on the Irish regarding Brexit's backstop issue over the UK/Ireland:EU border.

when folks go to that degree .....to make a statement about Trump........ there is a reason for it. Their is a reason for all the demonstrations against Trump too. Regardless of all the pop etc and everyone being on their best behavior.........the reality is different.........TRUMP is DISLIKED as a person, and he is a bully by definition of the term. He is bully tactless, and rude........and is so uncouth it is painful to watch. If Trump is being polite......he there is something in it for him. The bloke is a lunatic......with more psychological issues than an average thin skinned sociopath.

Trump's problem with London Mayor is that the mayor is a Muslim. And presents as articulate, intelligent and diplomatic. Trumps prejudices are evident for all to see. and are the basis of his ideas , words and twitter rants. The mayor is right. Trump is a juvenile......and an embarrassment to the office of the presidency. But then Americans are not known for their class or couth ....and he embodies their collective persona

Trump can dish it out but he can't take it......

As far as I know, Trump's problem isn't that Khan is Muslim. His problem with Khan is that Khan is doing nothing about London's knife epidemic, which has rocketed since he became mayor, and is just more interested in virtue signalling.

And you can say all you like that there "is a reason" for Khan's comments about Trump, but I never saw him and the other lefties protesting against the visit of dictators like Xi Jinping.

His Tweet about Sadiq is just a response to the nasty comments Sadiq made about him.

If Sadiq can dish it out then he should be able to take it.

Absolutely. London isn't a safe city anymore mostly due to Khan and his policies. He is a disgusting little man!

Which would be, in Ye Merrie Olde Englishe, a peppercorn.
That you turn out to be a Trumpsucker is. . . well, utterly predictable.

Oh please! even Blackleaf wouldn't go near Trump's briefs I hope. Stop giving me that awful imagery. It's the stuff of nightmares.
