I liked Max's ideas, and voted him number one on my leadership ballot (Scheer no. 2, Raitt no. 3)
However, IMHO when you run for the leadership of a party, you are proclaiming an attachment to that party and the ideals and policies of that party. When you lose, you remain loyal, unless there is some catastrophic violation of the principles of the party or of your own core principles.
Considering Max's history in the party, that did not happen.
I found his stab in the back to be vicious, dishonest, and narcissistic.........as well as bloody stupid.
They might as well have all joined the Liberal Party, and they may well prevent a Conservative majority while electing (at most) one MP.
I am pissed at Max, and if he costs us this election, I will never forgive him. (as if Max cared about my disillusionment)
