Have you ever read the full details of the various "voter ID" laws you claim are just essential to ensure fairness in voting in a country you don't live in? Like the Texas law that accepts a concealed carry permit as ID, but not a University of Texas student ID card?
I would suggest neither should be considered primary identification. But that’s just me .

Democrats call Voter ID laws racist because they believe African Americans are like children and will not know how to get an ID. It is a form of racism called white benevolence or white savoir. A behavior prevalent among White Liberals. The reality is they don't want Voter ID Laws because that way they can't steal tight elections and allow non citizens to vote.

We’ve been hearing an awful lot lately about the federal government’s proposed Fair Elections Act.
Mostly, we’ve been hearing complaints, and mostly, the complaints have been about the Conservatives’ intention to ban the practice of vouching for voters lacking proper identification on election day.
Vouching means that if you can’t prove where you live, you can have someone else swear an oath that you’re the person on the voter list.
About 120,000 Canadians use it, mostly elderly or aboriginal. Several provinces, including Ontario, have banned the practice in provincial elections.
In the latest news- election officials have been trying to explain away the growing number of dead people who vote in elections!!!!!! And the same election officials want us to have faith in the purity of our electoral process even as they issue voter ID cards to illegals and others who are NOT ENTITLED to vote!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
I’ve yet to meet any ordinary citizen whose eyes don’t glaze over when you mention vouching, but opposition politicians, Elections Canada and the media all care a great deal about it and so week after week, the complaints flow.
But considering the uproar, I haven’t heard of anyone interviewing people who actually do the work on Election Day — the army of temporary Elections Canada employees who hand you your ballot.
I was one of them during the last federal election and let me be the first to tell you vouching stinks. It’s an open invitation to voter fraud. The sooner they ditch it, the better.
Case in point: Charlie. He limped in to the small-town, three-poll church hall, leaning heavily on the arm of a taxi driver who steered him over to me, the deputy returning officer for his poll. Charlie was 95 and had no identification. He didn’t know he needed it and didn’t have any.
I said I needed ID. People started getting mad.
“This is Charlie,” someone said. “Everybody knows Charlie. He’s been voting here for 70 years.”
“Fine,” I said, “But I don’t know who he is and I’m the one who needs to know.” By that time, everyone in the place was shouting. So I asked for someone to vouch for him.
Suddenly, things got very quiet. Seconds dragged by; the lineup behind Charlie got longer and longer. Finally, the taxi driver said he’d vouch for him.
Now here’s the thing about Elections Canada’s temp staff: The DROs are chosen from a list provided by the party who won the election the last time. The poll clerks who assist them come from the party that finished second.
My poll clerk was a Liberal. Maybe she was deliberately causing trouble or maybe she was genuinely confused but in the end, no paperwork was done.
Charlie voted, but there’s no record of what transpired.
Had the election been in dispute, or had Elections Canada chosen to check my riding for potential fraud, there was no trail to follow.
To this day, I don’t know for a fact if Charlie was really Charlie.
The same scene played out several times that day, one involving a woman who appeared to be out of it and whose son may have voted for her. Again, no paperwork.
This could be one reason Elections Canada says there’s no evidence of widespread voter fraud. It may in fact happen, but there’s no evidence there was a problem in the first place.
A handful of votes in my poll, multiplied by several hundred polls in my riding, becomes a lot of votes.
In big cities? In those condo canyons where no one knows anyone? Voter fraud could happen quite easily.
There are other voting day problems the Fair Elections Act could correct but vouching is the big one.
Get rid of it and let voters use their voter identification cards instead.
We have not yet reached the Yankee version of elections where boxes fill of ballots are "lost" nor do we have to endure a situation where a bunch of stinking lawyers decide which ballots will be counted and which put aside!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
But our LIE-berals are working towards such dubious goals!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Undocumented U.S. migrants get Canadian visas

OTTAWA - Elidee Sanchez says her nightmares about her harrowing journey crossing the Mexico-U.S. border finally came to an end the day she arrived — legally — in Canada.
After spending 17 years living in the United States as an undocumented migrant, she was in an almost constant state of anxiety. She had no legal status in a country that has been developing an increasingly hostile view of "illegal" migrants.
(Most people consider that you must be defined as illegal if you SNEAK into a country to live!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
But last August, Sanchez drove across the Blue Water Bridge that connects Port Huron, Mich., with Sarnia, Ont. and was granted legal entry into Canada, thanks to a successful application for a Canadian study visa despite her undocumented status.
(Isnt that nice- Cdn LIE-berals are PRETENDING that she is a Yankee in order to get her in! Without knowing a single hard fact about her background!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
"That's the first time I've ever had a stamp in my passport," she exclaimed to the border security officer as she crossed.
It was a milestone in Sanchez's life that her immigration lawyer, Vanessa Routley, said would not have happened three years ago.
(There are people who say it should NOT be happening now either!!!!!!!!!!)
As an undocumented migrant living for so many years illegally in the United States, her application for a temporary Canadian visa would likely have been denied, Routley said.
"In the past, if someone had failed to comply with the regulations in another country, Canada was not willing to take a chance on them, to admit them and to ask them to follow our rules," Routley said.
But over the last few years the Canadian government might have quietly revised its approach to some of these applications.
(Yes- we know that Cdn LIE-berals have turned Canada into the immigrant and illegal dumping ground of the world!!!!!!!!!!!)
"There was a low-level rumour circulating that it's possible to bring these people in both for study permits and job offers," Routley said, which is why she moved forward with Sanchez's application. She said she would not have taken the case in the past, given the low probability of success.

"I knew there was a chance that Sanchez could be refused, but there seemed to be a new willingness on the part of Immigration, Refugee and Citizenship Canada to give preferential treatment to people who would otherwise do an irregular border entry, but were clearly trying to comply with the regulations and do it through legal pathways."
Routley had had success with another client, who also was living in the U.S. undocumented. He was able to use his unofficial work history in the U.S. to support his application for a temporary work visa in Canada. She said she has heard of other similar cases from 2017 from other lawyers.
(And how can “unofficial work history” be verified?????????)
The Immigration Department said there has been no official change in the requirements for temporary Canadian visas and would not comment on individual cases, citing privacy laws.
(Ah- the CLASSIC LIE-beral weasel words- “no OFFICIAL CHANGE”!!!!! Just a quiet understanding of a new LIE-beral reality!!! Sadly I am sure LIE-berals have NO PLAN for what to do with former illegals who screw up and then go underground to avoid deportation!!! Who wants an entire underclass of illegals forming in Canada?????? And who would benefit from that?? Other than LIE-berals seeking to buy votes????????)
The department did say each application is considered on the specific facts presented by the applicant. As long as they show the applicant is not criminally inadmissible, is in good health, can financially support him- or herself and has all the required paperwork, and he or she agrees to leave the country when the visa expires, the applicant can be granted access to Canada.
(So as long as the FBI is not in hot pursuit and the applicant has no visible sores or open lesions or obvious bullet wounds its all good??????????)
In other words, nothing precludes an undocumented migrant from being granted a temporary visa as long as he or she meets all other requirements of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act.
Routley says she believes Canada may be trying to reward those who are legally trying to enter Canada, given the spike in irregular border-crossers coming to Canada from the U.S. via non-official ports of entry. That has led to a two-year backlog of refugee claims and public and political concerns raised about Canada's border system.
(I say Cdn LIE-berals are rounding up illegals like crazy cat ladies collecting strays!!! And sadly- LIE-berals are accepting no more responsibility for their strays than those crazy cat ladies who die and end up being eaten by their pets!!!!)
She wants more undocumented migrants to know this could be an option for them, but understands there could be reasons why the government might not be making any change with a lot of fanfare.

"With the political atmosphere between the Canadian and U.S. government, I don't think the federal government wants to be perceived as rolling out the welcome mat for people who were essentially illegal workers in the U.S.A.," she said. "It might also be a bit of a floodgates rationale in that... it could start a stampede."
(Cdn public reaction to growing swarms of illegals and “irregulars” has grown increasingly hostile as costs for the illegals soar- and it becomes ever more obvious that LIE-berals have done NO security checks of any sort on the strays they are rounding up!! In her application, Sanchez was honest about her undocumented status, explaining she had crossed into the U.S. from Mexico at the age of 17, making the dangerous journey across the Rio Grande under a false belief she could eventually normalize her status in the United States.
But living undocumented in the U.S. was instead a lifelong hardship.
"Just the frustration and the nightmares and the inability to even be able to get a regular driver's license — my driver's license was a different colour and I couldn't even buy liquor with it because it said in big letters 'Not valid' ... I spent half of my life not being able to move forward."
(So she has ID that is OFFICIALLY LABELED as FAKE?? Because that is what “not valid” MEANS!!! And at the beginning of this article she ADMITS driving into Canada!! Using WHAT for a drivers licence?? And HOW does a person with NO LICENSE because she is an ILLEGAL ever get auto insurance?? Who PAYS - other than the Cdn tax payer if she gets into an accident???????? )
That's why, when she was granted legal status in Canada this summer to pursue a master's degree, it was life-altering.
(No doubt! But what happens if she borrows all that money from OSAP and then either cannot do the work because of language barriers or money issues and then skips BACK across the border and leaves the bills behind?? Good old Cdn tax payers- are the SUCKERS of the world thanks to LIE-berals????????)

"It was kind of like a dream. It didn't hit me until woke up in my hotel the next day in Toronto," she said.
