Australian Senator Fraser Annings comments noting the discrepancy between the comparison of Islamic terrorism and that of 'White Nationalism' has brought up some uncomfortable truths.
One is that Islamic communities by and large do not assimilate into the cultural milieu of the countries to which they migrate. They see themselves as emissaries of a global Islamic hegemony. In France they remain in isolated cultural ghettos generations after their arrival. They do not identify with the nation in which they reside and regularly send their young men on jihad in country and around the globe. A faithful Muslim will not submit to the moral maxims of a nation he considers illegitimate and apostate in terms of his governing Sharia Law.
Without in anyway supporting acts of mass murder Anning correctly stated that Islam is carrying out genocides around the world, Europe, the Americas, Africa, Asia, on an industrial scale. This is not some heretical, fundamentalist, schismatic sect of Islam. It is the Islam of the Koran and of the Imams. There is a case to be made for focusing immigration policies on cultures that can assimilate into the patriotic uberculture of the national and constitutional identity.
Of course all this now is be labelled 'White Nationalism' and inevitably Trump is being blamed as prime motivator of 'hate'. But the issue is far more complex than the liberal press and political establishment are presenting.
