Stumps have turned the tables on the Bombers in the 2nd Q scoring two TDs but are robbed of a nice punt return for TD when they are penalized for holding......still they have an 8-point lead going into the half.

Ooooh............nice start for the Stumps as they cough up the ball on their first play of the 3rd...right into the Bombers hands.

Bombers drive after the interception goes nowhere..........but then neither does the ensuing one for the Stumps after Boo is plowed under on Calgary's own 2 yard line to bring up 3rd D

Stumps doing a grand job of containing Harris' runs.........unfortunately - coaches have to find a way to spring him free

Bombers O still being stymied by the Stumps D-line..........though Medlock gets them closer with another FG to narrow the lead to 3 points late in the 3rd

It is looking like the Stumps are going to get another chance to come up short in a Grey Cup game. LOL With just over 2 minutes left in the game, they are in control and in the lead by 10 points.

So, the Grey Cup will feature the Stumps vs the Redblacks..............I'll most definitely be cheering for the RBs.

23 years ago on this day and at this time I was freezing my balls off watching a young Anthony Calvillo lead the Baltimore Stallions to a Grey Cup victory at Taylor Field.

At this point, if the two teams play the way they played yesterday, it's going to be the worst curbstomping in Grey Cup history. The RBs were nearly perfect, and the Stamps were, as the polite sportscasters like to say, "struggling."

Still gonna be a game. The Stamps didn't rack up a 13-5 record by stinking up the joint, and it's doubtful the RBs can be that good twice in a row. It's almost homefield for the Stamps, and the RBs are going to have to fight an overconfidence problem. They can't depend on the Stamps' receivers hands turning to stone again.
