Anton Pruneau is working hard for the game's MVP title as he makes tackle after tackle and block after block for the RBs then grabs a Mazoli pass and takes it down to the Cat's 20 on the return. Trevor makes short work of finding the end zone on his first pass after the TO. RBs well on their way to a win if they keep this up. Cat's have dug themselves an almost impossible hole to fill now that they trail 27 to 6.

Things are outta control with the teams getting into a fight on the sidelines with an official getting slammed on top of a Cat's player. Ottawa is hit with 35 yards in penalties and Rose is disqualified for hitting an official and escorted off the field and out of the game.

Another flag............it would be nice if we could get through at least one play without a flag being thrown. RBs hit with another - an offside that puts Hamilton at the 5 yard.......RBs hit with an offside putting the Cats at the 2 but the RB defense stands tall on the first attempt leaving the Cat's with but :07 to find the end zone..........and they finally get across the goal line with 0 left on the clock for their first TD of the game.......the play, as always with a TD, is under review...........TD is good and the Cats will go into the half down by two possessions but having given themselves a chance. Had they not scored 6 on that drive, it would have been a tough row to hoe for them in the second half.

27 - 13 for the RBs at half-time.

At 12:51 in the 3rd Q....Trevor Harris connects with Dubois in the end zone for the RBs 4th TD of the game. Uncharacteristically, Lewis misses on the convert but the Cat's are now looking at a 3 possession game.

The Ottawa RBs have given the position of being an expansion team an entirely new look with their ability to reach the play-offs year after year and this after winning the Cup in their very first attempt. The newest expansion team coming out of the Maritimes which is long overdue, IMHO can take heart that it is possible for a brand new team to not only fit right in with the league but excel at doing so.

Cat's have no defense against Trevor and his crew today. Hardly a receiver for the RBs has yet to get a pass.
The RBs just took this game completely out of the hands of Hamilton with their 5th TD of the game giving them a 39 - 19 lead with but 1:31 left in the Q.

Well.............I think I will take my little guy for a walk now instead of between games. The Cats are going to lose this one and by a wide margin it appears as the RBs put yet another 7 on the board increasing their lead over Hamilton to 27 points. Even with a Q to play, the momentum is all on Ottawas' side in this one........they can taste victory.

Kudos to the Redblacks and especially their outstanding QB MOP,Trevor Harris who set at least two new CFL TD records today.

Trevor Harris surpassed another Ottawa QB - Russ Jackson's previous record of the most TDs in an Eastern final. He was golden today........absolutely golden.

My RBs are ROLLING!

Do they have a name for the Maritimes team yet?

"Sailors" is obvious.

They are on their way to the Cup, Tec and good on them for an outstanding performance today. Though I wished for a Cat's win, I am heartened to see that the team going to the Cup from the East will be bonafied contenders hopefully ensuring an exciting final game of the season. They have now done what no other expansion team has done - going to the Grey Cup in all but one of their attempts since joining the league.

I believe that the team will hold a contest just like Ottawa did to select a name. Haven't yet heard when that might be held. I'm liking the Maritime Marauders. I'm not liking anything with Atlantic in the title as some have suggested. They are most frequently referred to as the Maritimes - not the Atlantic provinces.

Looks like the final will be: 46 - 27 for the Redblacks. Congratulations to the entire team.

As I said "Maritime Sailors" sounds kinda obvious to me. I agree that it should be "Maritimes," even I know that's what they're called.

Of course you do, Tec did not mean to imply otherwise. I just have an issue with the word 'sailors' as it only embodies a portion of the people - not much different than calling them the Maritimes Fishermen, IMHO. I'd like to see something more inclusive and with a bite to it. LOL.

Paredes misses on a shorter FG attempt for the Stumps and the Winnipeg punt returner is able to make his way to around the 40 yard line coming out of the end zone to give the Bombers solid field position
