Great win for the Cats. Riders not having a great game so far.......hope things pick up for them in the 2nd half.
Who woulda thought Bomber 3rd string QB would win it for them, that kick return tackle sealed the deal
Today the Eastern and Western Finals will be held to determine which teams meet in the Grey Cup next week. About to get underway, the Cats are in Ottawa to play the Redblacks. That game will be followed by the Bombers vs Stamps in Calgary.
I'm hoping to see the Cats and Bombers emerge victorious.

Tough going in the early minutes of the opening Q for the Cats. They go 2 and out then the RBs take the field only to drive the ball all the way to the end zone in their first series to go 3rd and goal at the 3 yard line. Lewis Ward puts them on the board with 3.
Cats defense is giving Ottawa all kinds of trouble but they are taking too many penalties and are looking at another if Rick Campbell wins his challenge of DPI which is now under review. Bit early to blow his only challenge...........may come back to haunt him........though he does win this one giving the RBs a 1rst D at the Cats 23.
Cats get first sack of the game as they force another FG try for the RBs. Lots of scuffles, pushing and shoving and taunting going on. Lewis adds another 3 to Ottawa's score.
12:55 in the 2nd and the RBs get on the board with their first TD after the Cats turned the ball over on a interception and they follow that with a 2-point convert ......sheesh.
Sidenote: After the vicious helmet to helmet hit on Brandon Bridge by a Winnipeg defender in last week's semi-final, the CFL has added another official to the game whose sole responsibility is to keep his eye on the QB and call any illegal hits.
After a good drive downfield aided by a couple of RB penalties, the Cats come up short of the 6 points but Lirim gets them 3.
With 1:51 left in the 2nd, the RBs put another 6 on the board but come up short on another 2-point convert attempt. They open the lead 20 to 6.
