I'd live in the valley in a heartbeat. Craven is just a village but 2 minutes to the lake and 20 to the city.

It doesn't get any better.

Dutchyshen had a good buzz on and is funny as f-ck. I had a blast. Met lots of players. It's not often I feel short in crowd. Now I know what it's like to be 5'5" without being 5'5".

Looks like everyone is having a great time, pete..........so glad you got to be part of it. Hope this leads to a good game for us this weekend.

CGY is going to get their first loss on Sunday.

Didn't get to watch the game between the Bombers and the RBs last night but the latter beat the former. Tec will be happy.

Watching the Lions and the Argos right now. Nice tight game 20 - 17 for the pussycats at the end of the 3rd. That young Bethel-Thompson seems to be just what the Argos ordered.

Thanks to an undisciplined IPI call against BC's Peters, the Argos just scored a TD from the 1-yard line to spring ahead of the Cats 24 - 20............yep, I'm liking this Bethel-Thompson a lot. Kid's got a good arm and good scrambling ability.

Well that's the ball game folks.............Manny fumbled the ball, the Argos recovered and there are but 38 seconds left in the game. Barring a TO by the Argos, I'd say they have this one all sewed up. Yeah Argos.

24 - 23 the final

Next game up today will see Montreal - minus Johnny Football - in Edmonton to take on the Esks at 6PM PST.

Esks have been hit and miss this season. Johnny Concussion out or not errors can upset even the best team.

True that. I watched an interview with Jason Maas the other day wherein he was talking about the need for more discipline on the team - we can only hope the message didn't get through to the guys.

Too bad they only have 30 fans.

LOL..................maybe a few more than that, pete but I get your point which is why I cheer on the Eastern teams when they play any other team but ours.

Argos are showing some life. Might have unexpected shot at playoffs yet.

I hope that Bethel-Thompson stays healthy and continues to play as well as he has shown he can. The defense is coming along well except for discipline problems now and then. I have a lot of faith in Marc and Anthony.

My, my, my.............the Al's appear to be holding their own pretty darn well so far, pete. Pipsqueak  is doing a credible job as pivot thus far. Around the mid-way point in the 2nd, the score is in favor of the Esks by a measly 3 points. 17 - 14

Looks like the Als are heading towards yet another loss which will see them sitting at 1 and 8 in the standings. Had they been a lot more disciplined they just might have had a chance at a win this time. Three times they sacked Riley but drew 2 15-yard OC penalties that only helped march the Esks closer to the goal line with yet another Edmonton TD resulting. Not that the Esks were without egregious calls of their own - trouble is they still managed to get points on the scoreboard whilst the Als didn't - and they just lost Sutton to an injury. Bowman was ejected from the game earlier along with an Esk player for OC.

Score: 33 to 18 for the Esks with just over 8 minutes left in the 4th.

I'm outta here. My eyes are stinging from all the smoke in the air around here.

24 - 6 at the end of the half now, pete .............and looking good on all sides of the ball. Love those sacks by Elam. Love the interception for a TD return. Love what the defense is doing to Mitchell.
