Pipelines or death? Most amateure partime environmentalist have sweet fuk all appreciation of physics nor the historical climate records and are easily fooled by todays popular CO2 nonsence. Co2 makes trees stupid. Reduction of CO2 is mass murder of vegetation you suicidal idiot. I prefere plants over humans. Birds and fish are OK too. Humans are readily available and cheap to produce.

One should keep in mind that this planet don,t need us to keep on shinning.

BC gets almost nothing out of the Kinder Morgan.

BC is part of Canada. All of Canada benefits from our oil industry, and all will benefit from getting our oil to tide-water and out to markets where we will get about $30 more per barrel for it.

I live in BC, on the coast, and I think it is shameful the way our current government is trying to choke off an important Canadian industry just because its not located in BC. We expect that kind of attitude from Quebec, but not from other provinces.

Most people in BC are good Canadian patriots. That is why the majority here - even in the lower mainland - are in favor of the Transmountain expansion. People should not be fooled into thinking all of us out here support those two clowns Horgan and Weaver. We are currently being ruled by two parties that LOST the last election.

BC is only part of Canada when it serves Alberta's purposes.

Canada has challenged definition, this past decade. True north strong and free used to be the innoculated wisdom , the only thing left of that introduction is North. What we have to do is grab someplace below 60 degrees or cease to exist, except as a sorce of icecubes. Some little island in the mid latitudes, perhaps we can cut a deal with Cuba. I visited Cuba once. I have connections.

I,m of course harmlessly teaseing you, poking your ribs in fun, you are obviously human and subject to the normal restrictions of things you might consider. It certainly is no fault of youres that you are incapable of keeping up with the standard CCC level of stuff. You are not the first damaged human being entertained by CCC. wE LOVE YOU.

Lock the rum up until the ships are in international water. Keeping on top of erosion and other thingies on the land portion will need people and the ones with the most interest would be the protestors. They can't stop the line but they can make sure it is is as safe as it can be and that experience is something that is an exportable commodity if you like to travel to other places pipelines are being build. Drilling through a mountain range is not a skill that is 'overcrowded' at the moment. By the time Russia and China and India have all the lines they need it will be full of people with those skills. Better we export the knowledge rather than have to hire them to come and monitor the way we do things.

Considering the size of the right-of-way needed to construct it they should leave behind a heavy rail system to lighten the traffic in the waterways to the south.

I am anti anything that presents a threat to the fishery.

So whatabout thst
They are already under threat. Reclaiming the rivers and streams already damaged seems to be a program that has been put on the back burner permanently. If you clear log right down to the water the reclamation should include the bed and landscaping it so it is fish friendly and the land above it can be farmed in the future without wrecking the stream itself.
The water in Frazer Canyon used to run slower but road waste was pushed into the water. Start with making it fish friendly again if conservation is so important.

The Kinder Mrogan threat extends from our eastern border along every foot of that pipeline through the port and out to the open ocean.

Any spill or leak along any part of that system threatens the property and health and livelihoods of British Columbians.

As opposed to absolutely no threat hauling it by rail?

I figure bring it up from the states by pipeline and use it here if we need it.

The US already has the network, all Alberta has to do is plug into it.
