Yer a vegan.

Absolutely, totally, disgustingly, not.

I've too much meat currently sitting in my fridge and freezers to be a vegan.

Why (not what, as I typed originally) is the slaughter of animals okay?

Still never answered that question, Wally.

I doubt that you have Black Bear or Wolf in your freezer, too.

Maybe, Sarah Palin will publish a cook book.

Any hunter should be against these changes. They are completely contrary to conservation and most hunters are conservationists first and foremost.

I do not believe Alaska will adopt these changes, but rather will work towards eliminating them from the private lands where they allegedly occur.

A proposed rule published by the National Park Service in the Federal Register would let Alaskan game officials decide whether bear cubs can be killed alongside their mothers, caribou can be shot from a boat while swimming, wolves, including pups, can be hunted in their dens and other animals can be targeted from airplanes and snowmobiles. Animals could also be baited with sweets and killed or poisoned.

The Park Service said its proposal is consistent with an order by Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke to accede to states’ wishes to expand recreational hunting. “The purpose of this proposed rule is to align sport hunting regulations in national preserves in Alaska with State of Alaska regulations and to enhance consistency with harvest regulations on surrounding non-federal lands and waters,” officials wrote. “The proposed rule would apply the State of Alaska’s hunting regulations to national preserve lands, with limited exceptions.”

To the MAGAhats, I have a few observations:

1. I know the first words out of your mouths will be "Whatabout how Indians hunted?" So, nice try at diversion, complete with a soupcon of racism.

2. "Indians" didn't hunt any particular way. You're talking about 1/5 of the world's population, thousands of cultures, over 15,000 years. But you saw this movie. . .

3. Aside from your limp-dick attempts to divert, are you really stupid enough to think should be no difference between the hunting methods of stone-age subsistence hunters and electronics-age sport hunters?

4. Oh. . . wait. . . of course you are. After all, you're birthers.

Let me guess. :p Walter, the gay hating closet homosexual gave you a red for this.

1. Homer is a cartoon character in a cartoon world.

2. While bear is sometimes eaten, wolf generally is not a meat that's eaten by anyone.

3. There's a HUGE difference between hunting and slaughtering animals. So why are you all for slaughtering animals? At least be honest about it...

I doubt that you have Black Bear or Wolf in your freezer, too.

Never had bear and I'd never eat Wolf what so ever. It's a spiritual thing for Wolf.

Look! You can see it from here!"

Humans generally do not eat carnivores for health reasons (dangerous pathogens). We bend the rules for omnivores like bear and especially piggy.

Bear? Yeah, I've had bear in my freezer. Not a real big fan of it though. But yeah, nobody eats wolf. Carnivores taste like shit. Probably why I'm not a fan of bear either because they're omnivores.

Pigs and chickens are both omnivores and they hold a very privaleged place in my freezer.

There's a slight difference. Pigs and chickens are killed while they're still young while older chickens that have outlived their egg laying usefulness become stewing chickens. Trust me, you do NOT want to eat a wild pig or boar that is much older than 4 years, they do not taste good at all. I imagine the same could be said for domestic pigs if they've been fed an omnivorous diet.

Why would a sane person let the cubs live and starve to death over a long period of time??
I would suggest anything killed also be fully harvested, including poachers.
