And?

Are things getting better or worse for Cho average?

They are getting materially better off and for a people that have never known freedom, they are no worse off than during the serfdom/slavery of most of their history.

If only it were that simple. Trump is giving Putin carte blanche by appeasing him as he so vividly did.

(BOTH parties in Washington are up in arms.......over his conduct. Have not heard the republicans speak so eloquently in a long time. ......and all condemn Trum[s conduct.

The questionis: did trump do this DELIBERATELY.........and does he know the repercussions ........ as they are playing out.

There is nothing wrong with his wanting to dialgue with Putin. The issue is that when he does in his role as POTUS he has to KNOW which country he is supporting.......and Trump showed support for Russia , while condemning his own agencies, and allies as well.

Does Trump WORK for Russia?? He is acting like some kind of mole...... and this might be why they made sure they had no witness to their private conversation.

Just theorizing....... but it has a plausibility element. Just postulating possibilities that might explain this conduct. He has been doing Putin's work for him for some time now. Causing unrest, distension, NO normal POTUS would have behaved the way Trump did this past week. It has been right out of Putins playbook.

Technically Putin is running Trump and America........

This must be what The trumpians want .

Why did Trump ask for the DNC servers at the press conference? Was there something that Putin told him in confidence?

Putin's got "the goods" on everyone, eh?

Putin's going to win. America has already lost.

Crap, Putin's smart! I guess that the KGB recruited the cream of the crop.

"The damage inflicted by President Trump's naiveté, egotism, false equivalence, and sympathy for autocrats is difficult to calculate. But it is clear that the summit in Helsinki was a tragic mistake," McCain said in a statement.

"There is no question that Russia interfered in our election and continues attempts to undermine democracy here and around the world," Ryan said in a statement.

"That is not just the finding of the American intelligence community but also the House Committee on Intelligence," Ryan said. "The president must appreciate that Russia is not our ally. There is no moral equivalence between the United States and Russia, which remains hostile to our most basic values and ideals.

"The United States must be focused on holding Russia accountable and putting an end to its vile attacks on democracy," Ryan said.

Oh, he's greatful for those economic sanctions, is he?

Putin wants a booming economy so that he can recover their billions of investments in Trump Co, preferably with some sort of a profit. History has shown that investing in Trump is fraught with risk after four serial bankruptcies have left investors and subcontractors with ten cents on the dollar, over and over.

Why would Putin want a good economy for the US when he has his own country to be concerned about?? He wants to be pleased from the sanctions so Russia can make progress economically

Mind you , things are certainly looking up for Putin now. A big win hosting the games...........and in the meeting with Trump...
