Also referred to as the “sad frog meme,” Pepe the Frog did not originally have anti-Semitic connotations. But as the meme proliferated in online venues such as 4chan, 8chan and Reddit, a subset of memes came into existence promoting anti-Jewish, bigoted and offensive ideas. And those have spread virally on Twitter, Facebook and elsewhere.

To me, nationalism is not 'white or non-white'. People are leaning towards nationalism because globalization has failed. Saying nationalism is white, is racist in itself as all immigrants (new or old stock) are not all 'non-white', a large majority are white and I would imagine many in both groups are having the same discussions and are fully aware of the downfalls of globalization. Large Corporation elites engineered globalization and it has been monetarily very successful for them. The elites of the G7 group are aware that the effect of globalization has affected growth in manufacturing, investment, new business, etc. but that only affected the little people, they still managed to do very well by cutting wages and increasing real interest rates. Their income and stocks have gained exponentially. More and more people are awakening and seeing the inequalities, should be an interesting few years.

This speaks to a real divide among Americans. Some of us feel real hostility toward African Americans. Others definitely do not.

I actually don't blame the restaurant in this case. People made a reservation and the restaurant obliged. What the guests do is the responsibility of the guests as long as the restaurant does not promote it.
As for the protesters, they're the best advertising that white nationalists can get. We all know how many tend to sympathize with the victim against the perpetrator. Anti-racist groups allow white nationalists to milk the protests for all they're worth by presenting themselves as victims and martyrs. This is why I prefer simple openness to anti-racism. Someone who is simply open, though he might not approve of Nazism and such, knows that the best thing he can do is ignore it and befriend any Nazi he meets. That way he deprives that Nazi of the martyr complex and free publicity and sympathy.
Here's what I don't understand. I advocate for very open borders, yet if I were the owner of that restaurant, I would probably still welcome my guests even if they were Nazis since I recognize that welcoming them does not mean welcoming their beliefs. I'd probably even treat them with respect as I do any other guest too, again not as a sign of approval of their beliefs but merely as a sign of normal human courtesy to a person. Then I'd face protests from people accusing my restaurant of being bigoted when, ironically enough, many members of anti-racist groups still advocate for far more border restrictions than I do.
I guess that's the difference between being for something as opposed to being against something. I'd rather be for something. Being against racism does not tell me much about a person. I'd rather know what he's for, since that gives me a clearer idea of what he really believes.
I am troubled by how many people, mainly the pepe people, decry the anti fascist movement. What troubles me is when did being 'anti fascist' become a bad thing....?

It is unfair to let poor white people off the hook for their lack of solidarity with the rest of the working class. But it is only through engagement, recognition of the failures of both political parties, and organizing for a more radically unified working class politic that these issues can be overcome.
Shaun from Pittsburgh’s chapter of Redneck Revolt discussed the conditions of these “psychological wages.”
Shaun likes to tell potential members, “white supremacy is essentially a fight to be the best treated dog in the kennel.”
“All poor and working class folks suffer at the hands of the rich. We all have trouble — bordering to the point of impossibility — making house rent, paying medical bills especially these days, covering food, making sure that our children and families are cared for and it doesn’t have to be that way,” he said.
“It’s that way because a vastly small percentage of the population hordes access to resources and they’re able to do this because they’ve managed to get one half of the working class to turn against the other half in exchange for basically preferential treatment.”
“It’s in everyone’s best interests that we as quickly and aggressively as possible dismantle that system so that poor and working folks essentially have something resembling a fair shake at a decent life.”

NEW YORK — The killer who strode up to a mobile police command post and put a bullet in an officer’s head Wednesday had ranted in a Facebook video last September about law officers killing and abusing people and warned them to leave him alone or “we gonna do something.”
“I’m not playing, Mr. Officer. I don’t care about 100 police watching this,” 34-year-old ex-convict Alexander Bonds said, adding: “It’s time for people to wisen up.”
(Oh that`s NICE! As I have said before, most of the people that Black Lives matter are trying to `defend` are ALREADY criminals by any honest definition!)
Ten months later, Bonds went up to the RV-like command post in the Bronx and ambushed Officer Miosotis Familia, shooting her through the passenger-side window as she wrote in her notebook around 12:30 a.m.
New York City Police Commissioner James O’Neill said Familia was “assassinated in an unprovoked attack on cops.”
(IT also amounts to an unprovoked attack on white society! We do not know what crime previously put Bonds into jail but BLM believes that being a pimp, drug dealer, drug addict or dealer in stolen property is NOT a crime! At least NOT for black people!)
Familia’s partner frantically radioed for help, and officers caught up with Bonds about a block away and killed him when he pulled a revolver, police said. The burst of gunfire as the Fourth of July wound down was initially mistaken by some for fireworks.
Familia, 48, was a 12-year veteran of the force who spent her entire career with the department in the high-crime Bronx precinct. The command post there had been set up and staffed around the clock since a triple shooting in March.
“She was on duty serving this city, protecting people, doing what she believed in and doing the job she loved,” Mayor Bill de Blasio said.
Police said they were trying to establish the motive for the shooting.
(The number one killer of black men is other black men and yet black people resent the cops who are trying to restore some sort of order in their areas. It’s a mad position demanding that cops “arrest criminals in other neighbourhoods and leave ours alone because they are friends and neighbours” !
While tensions have been running high in recent years between police and black people around the country, there was no immediate indication the killing had a racial or ethnic dimension. Bonds was black; Familia was black and Hispanic, her family having come from the Dominican Republic. She apparently had no previous contact with him.
(The ONLY colour Bonds saw was police uniform BLUE! As a not so sensitive race relations idiot said in Toronto- “cops are an occupying army”! And why would cops and general public take offense at that attitude?)
Still, the attack recalled the 2014 ambush killings of two New York City officers who were gunned down in their cruiser by a man who had announced online moments before that he was planning to shoot two “pigs” in retaliation for the police chokehold death of Eric Garner in New York. The gunman, 28-year-old Ismaaiyl Brinsley, then killed himself.
(Garner was a huge guy and very strong and had a LONG list of assaults and other crimes for which cops wanted to arrest him- and it took FOUR of them to get him in handcuffs- he was THAT TOUGH! And in the process, he died as they struggled to hang onto him- and the career THUG came close to getting loose in spite of 4 cops piled on him! In anther cop shooting a black guy had a police dog chewing at his leg and a cop on his back and still got off the ground and into his truck and was trying to drive away when the cop shot him!)
In the latest shooting, Bonds was caught on video leaving a convenience store, then moving tightly along the wall, pulling a hoodie over his head and walking purposefully toward the command post vehicle with gloved hands.
The video didn’t capture the shooting itself but showed him running away with a gun in his hand, police said.
While all the department’s new patrol cars are outfitted with bullet-resistant windows, the rolling command posts don’t have them.
Bonds had been paroled in 2013 after an eight-year sentence for an armed robbery in Syracuse. He had other arrests, including one in 2001, when as a teenager he was accused of attacking an officer with brass knuckles.

While his Facebook page is filled largely with inspirational quotes and quizzes, he alluded at times to his troubled past. “Just few years ago I was in the devil house,” he noted in a New Year’s Eve post thanking God and people who had helped him.
But months earlier, he had posted his rambling tirade full of bitterness over his treatment in prison.
“Don’t think every brother, cousin, uncle you got that get killed in jail is because of a Blood or Crip or Latin King killing them. Nah, police be killing them and saying that an inmate killed them,” he said in the video.
Familia had three children, including a set of twins, lived with her mother and worked the midnight shift. Friends said she became an officer to help her community, and her family was heartbroken.
“Put it this way: She’d give you the shirt off her back. She was the sweetest person you ever want to meet,” downstairs neighbour Tom Ritter said. He said his son, now 22, played with Familia’s children, and she practically “adopted” him.
Even a woman who said her husband had been arrested by Familia had only kind words for the slain officer.
“She gave me good advice, like a mother to a daughter,” said Keisha Williams, 31, who said her husband was arrested on a marijuana charge. “She’s good, but she’s a tough cookie. She’s a good cop. I’m just sad it was her.”

What a grotesque indictment of our broken, dysfunctional mental health care system. “What happened was a tragedy. More than that, it was a catastrophe.”
That’s how Justice Wayne Renke on Wednesday described the death of Rachael Longridge, 21, who was killed by her mother, Christine Longridge, on Dec. 23, 2016.
There was never any doubt that Christine Longridge stabbed her daughter, a young nurse. Her son, Michael, then 18, actually arrived home to witness his mother doing her best to chop off his sister’s head with a cleaver.
Instead, we should ask why Rachael Longridge died — and why more wasn’t done to save her.
Renke found Christine Longridge not criminally responsible. “She knew what she was doing and she intended to do what she did,” said Renke.
But the judge found “beyond the shadow of a doubt” that she was incapable of understanding that what she was doing was morally wrong.
“”She believed she had the moral authority to kill,” Renke told the courtroom, his voice breaking as Rachael Longridge’s friends and family sobbed.
“Her delirium tore her from rational understanding.”
Rachael Longridge 21, was Edmonton’s 41st homicide victim of 2016. Her friend Danielle Bourque said Longridge was inherently caring and a natural nurse. But she couldn’t rescue her mother from her demons or herself from her mother.
Christine Longridge had her first psychotic break 20 years ago after the birth of her son. She became convinced he was the Messiah. She was hospitalized, diagnosed with bipolar/schizoaffective disorder and prescribed a high dose of lithium. And as long as her husband, Erin, was alive, he made sure she took her medication.
(So it is the usual tragedy- nobody available to ENFORCE the taking of the drugs that keep the deluded patient on the straight and sane path!)
But when her husband died in December 2015, she was left with only her children, then 17 and 20, to care for her. She became erratic about taking her medication. She stopped washing. She started hiding socks full of meat behind the chesterfield.
On Oct. 30, 2016, neighbours called police, after finding her, screaming and paranoid, curled up on their deck.
Police could have called the mental health crisis team. They could have taken her to hospital. Instead, they called her teenaged son to fetch his mother.
Christine Longridge’s sister drove her to the ER later that night. But the hospital refused to admit her.
(So the cops did their duty under the LIE-beral law and left Mom in the care of her son- a “responsible adult” who knew what she needed but had no way of getting it for her!)
Days later, her children found their mother running around outside without shoes, in the snow. She was convinced their house was about to explode. Then, on Nov. 7, she tried to kill herself. This time, she was admitted to hospital, but only for a week. When she was released, her usual medications were changed. She was prescribed only half her usual dose of lithium.
(And why change the dosage? Did the shrink screw up? Or did he think it would be easier to get the woman to take her medication if the dosage was reduced? WE know these psychotropic drugs often have unpleasant side effects which is why mental patients often stop taking them- and end up in trouble!)
In the days before she killed her daughter, Christine Longridge became obsessed again with the belief that her son was the Messiah, that her daughter had to die to save him. She told people, repeatedly, that her daughter must die. No one seems to have taken her seriously. Perhaps they were in denial about just how sick she was.
(Or perhaps they were familiar with what a waste of time it was to seek help from the LIE-beral dominated legal system so they did what LIE-berals do- crossed their fingers and prayed nothing would go wrong!)
What a grotesque indictment of our broken, dysfunctional mental health system. In the weeks and months before she killed her child, Christine Longridge was floridly psychotic, delusional, paranoid and self-destructive. She was a clear danger to herself and others.
(And yet if a divorced husband walked into a store and told the clerk: “I want the biggest butcher knife in the place to kill my wife with- cops would arrive at high speed and a LIE-beral hug a thug judge would have the hubby in jail in no time!)
Yet she couldn’t get a long-term hospital bed. There doesn’t seem to have any effort to have social workers or psychiatric nurses follow up with the family after she was released. Instead, her two children were left to tend a manic, hallucinating psychiatric patient without any social or medical support.
(And if questioned- we know the excuses that would be made: senior social workers would have passed the buck- that the children of crazy Christine did not properly “advocate” for her! Or maybe the social workers would blame another level of govt for not supporting their spendthrift bosses and wasteful pals with adequate resources? With LIE-berals its always the fault of others!)
Christine Longridge could have been committed for long-term psychiatric care. But of course, we don’t have enough beds in the “system” for that. We closed them. Instead, we talk and talk about caring for people “in the community.” But mostly, there is no “community care” — we just dump catastrophically ill people on family members who have no resources to cope.
(Yes- LIE-berals think it is a violation of peoples rights to force them into mental health care where they can be stabilized and made safe! And LIE-berals have also set their priorities for us. Sun writer Christina Blizzard documented the ugly reality that the education budget is rising FIFTY PERCENT FASTER than the health care budget- under LIE-berals- in spite of there being steadily reduced numbers of kids in the system while the number of health care patients SOARS! I guess we know now where LIE-berals figure they can buy the most votes! LIE-berals seem to think it is easier- FOR THEM- to ignore mental health patients and let them get shot on the street by cops- or as in cases like this- they terrorize others!)
Perhaps if we’d found a bed for Christine Longridge then, she wouldn’t be locked up in the forensic unit at Alberta Hospital now.
(LIE-berals had a choice: to get Longridge a bed and force a cure onto her so she could be given a few months of treatment at moderate cost - and then go back to her private life without trouble. Or they could ignore her till she committed this terrible crime and will now need to be locked up for life- at huge cost long term cost. AS usual LIE-berals chose the selfish short term solution!)
And perhaps Rachael Longridge would have her young life ahead of her.
(Yes- IF LIE-berals took our health care seriously for a change! This is the cost of LIE-beral health care rationing- so they can funnel more gravy to their pals! )
Will there be a fatality inquiry into Rachael Longridge’s death? Alberta Justice won’t say — although department spokesman Dan Laville says people can write letters petitioning the Fatality Review Board to convene one.
(Yrs- write letters- LIE-berals LOVE to talk things over with us and then tell us what conclusions they reached- BEFORE we wrote a single letter!)
Alberta Health Services confirmed late Wednesday that it will conduct a review of the case.
The court Wednesday made the right decision. Christine Longridge received justice, properly tempered with mercy. But there will be no justice for her daughter unless we push to ask why the Longridge family was betrayed by a health-care system that was supposed to help them.

A wealthy Six Nations entrepreneur will argue at Ontario’s highest court that Haudenosaunee laws should rule over Ontario family law when it comes to Indigenous people.
(Oh really? I was not aware that natives ever had a body of divorce law! So not only is the guy a slick entrepeneur- he is also apparently a clever writer of legal FICTION- an indigenous John Grisham! Such is the LIE-beral world we live in that such madness come to us as serious news!)
Ken Hill, co-owner of the Grand River Enterprises cigarette company, is battling a claim by his ex-partner, Brittany Beaver, to pay $33,183 per month in child support for their eight-year-old son and $85,701 per month in spousal support.
(These people are selling cigarettes to white people in defiance to tax law and yet in their arrogance HE wants to make up a bunch of native rules to get out of paying child support! Natives want to have their cake and smoke it too! They cherry pick their hypocrite way through lists of white laws that are SUPPOSED to apply to us all and yet natives obey as it pleases THEM- and then whine about RACISTS if or when they get jailed for being criminal morons!)
Hill, 59, will take his Charter challenge to the Ontario Court of Appeal in June, after losing a Superior Court decision last year where his lawyers asserted that court jurisdiction would violate the constitutional rights of natives.
(IN summer of 2017, LIE-berals released SEVEN accused killers and four other men accused of having STOLEN $44 million dollars in a pair of fraud cases - WITHOUT A TRIAL- simply because LIE-berals could not set up a trial in a reasonable time! But they CAN find time to listen to some native tax scammer whine about the rights of his “sovereign nation”- with the truth being that the guy is merely a tax cheat griping that his ex wife is a gold digging witch- and LIE-berals want to turn this into an “indigenous rights” issue? Haudenosaunee family disputes should be resolved “according to the laws and governance of the Haudenosaunee,” argued Hill’s lawyers.
(And can ANY of these goofs PROVE what that native law looked like 200 years back? Uh- NO- they cannot! And there is a larger question related to citizenship and we should now ask if it is fair to allow some people to create their own foreign country within our larger one- especially since the new “Nations” are so heavily dependent on white welfare payments! If LIE-berals had any sense at all, they would shut this goof down for the good of ALL! With NO ROOM for appeals to any other court! After all- the wife would clearly suffer if her divorce was regulated by “native” law and she would then whine about her violated CANADIAN RIGHTS! Justice Deborah Chappel disagreed. Hill is appealing her decision.
Hill, who makes more than $2.1 million a year tax-free, has paid $10,000 a month for his eight-year-old son Brody, covered the cost of his private school education and provided a $1-million house in the Kitchener area for Beaver, 31, Brody — and the woman’s toddler son by her new boyfriend — his lawyers stated.
(Gosh- goopd money for a tax cheat!)
“Indigenous mothers and children should not get any less child support than non-indigenous mothers and children,” said Beaver’s lawyer Martha McCarthy.
“Unfortunately, the Ontario government is not stepping up to defend access to Ontario family law for all Ontarians. The task has fallen on our client, a stay-at-home mom of two kids, going to school full-time,” said McCarthy.
Hill’s spokesman Raj Rasalingam said the successful businessman “is not fighting to punish anyone, he’s fighting to change the attitudes that Haudenosaunee cannot determine their own future and family court disputes.”

Hill and Beaver started dating in 2008, had moved in together by December of that year and she announced she was pregnant and had Brody in January 2009, court documents stated.

(Its hard to be sympathetic to either of these people- he is making a fortune running a business that causes lung cancer and which is made profitable only by breaking stupid tax laws which LIE-berals lack the guts to shut down; and its quite possible she is a gold digger! So I say to stupid LIE-berals: “quit wasting valuable court time; tell the idiots to shut up and have a judge impose a judgement- and lets get on with trying some killers and fraud artists for a change! Or should we just assume that LIE-berals prefer to listen to a native bigot rant about fictional traditional law just so long as he spends big on LAWYERS! Do LIE-berals consider this sort of case to be a bargain since LIE-berals only have to pay for the judge and much of that fee is covered by court costs? Are LIE-berals simply bleeding this native couple for gravy? Are LIE-berals THAT DESPERATE for more gravy? Looks like the answer is YES!)

MANCHESTER, N.H. — An online adjunct professor incorrectly told a student that Australia isn’t a country and gave her a failing grade, prompting Southern New Hampshire University to replace the instructor.
Buzzfeed News reports that the 27-year-old student in Idaho was assigned to compare American social norms to that of another country. She chose to study social media use in Australia, but the professor gave her a zero on that portion of the assignment, saying Australia is a continent, not a country.
Australia is actually both — a country and a continent.
University officials tell WMUR-TV the instructor has been replaced following an investigation. In a statement, the university said it deeply regrets the interaction between the professor and student, and wished athletes from Australia good luck in the Olympic games.
(I think it would be FUN to find out exactly what sort of values that N.H. U. Course was trying to expose! And what sort of credentials would be needed to teach the course in the first place- since it seems NO elementary knowledge of geography or history was needed to qualify to “teach” that course? What the hell is going on there? And what exactly are “graduates” of the course considered to be knowledgeable about?)
