It is really quite remarkable that such a knucklehead managed to get elected isnt it? The twerp carries ALL of his fathers vile values- nad lacks the cunning to sell us- or perhaps its just that Our idiot Boy is recycling so much of his fathers crap ansd we have seen the tricks before?
And LIE-berals are running out of gravy to buy support for their twisted political "vision"!
What is REALLY AMAZING is that some people actually think LIE-berals will allow pipe lines to be built and Alberta oil to be exported!
Consider this: Here is an article illustrating how LIE-beral policy is drowning in its own selfish hypocrisy. With some comments of my own in brackets):

Lately, it’s one of the few things that oil boosters and environmental activists can agree upon: Calling Vancouver a hypocrite for opposing carbon emissions while also being the continent’s largest coal port.
And both camps are correct. According to the data, Canada’s mecca of anti-pipeline sentiment does indeed rank as the largest single exporter of coal in North America.
Vancouver’s various coal facilities exported 36.8 million tonnes of coal in 2017, according to the Vancouver Fraser Port Authority.
(Oh dear- there is the dirty coal stained heart of LIE-beral hypocrisy! It was LIE-berals who told us no price was too high to pay to get rid of coal fired electric generators! And it was LIE-berals who sold us on using “clean burning natural gas” appliances for our homes and who then decided they needed more gravy and considered forcing us to give up natural gas in favour of electricity produced in the LIE-beral mouldy green electricity slush fund- until public backlash at that greed halted them- FOR NOW! And it was LIE-berals who bought into a Yankee power company that owns a number of coal plants- with NO plan to shut them down any time soon- with the added bonus the company is in the middle of a massive pollution lawsuit that our idiot LIE-berals will have to help pay to clean up- using OUR MONEY!)
(The most foolish aspect of LIE-beral policy is that China wants to phase out coal generation and would like to switch to cleaner natural gas- if only they could get a reliable supply– and LIE-berals are REFUSING to use pipe lines to export Cdn gas to China!)
This places the B.C. city well above Norfolk, Virginia, the busiest coal port in the United States. Despite a massive spike in U.S. coal exports for 2017, only 31.5 million tonnes of coal moved out of Norfolk last year.
(Versus 36.8 million tons for B.C. Oh well- just the usual LIE-beral posturing!)
Vancouver’s coal exports also dwarf the total coal production for the entire country of Mexico. According to data gathered by the U.S. Congressional Research Service, Mexican mines have produced no more than 16 million tonnes of coal per year since 2006.
Much of Vancouver’s coal is handled by a single facility that ranks as the largest of its kind on the continent.
Westshore Terminals loaded 29 million tonnes of coal in 2017, nearly triple the combined coal exports of the entire U.S. West Coast.
(And we KNOW LIE-berals will NOT want to kill those union port jobs!)
It’s also right next to the Tsawwassen ferry terminal, making it a familiar sight to any passenger aboard a ferry arriving from Vancouver Island. Currently, Westshore Terminals is in the midst of a $275 million upgrade to “replace aging equipment and modernize our office and shop complex,” according to the company.
(So they ARE planning to be in coal biz for the long term!)
B.C. mines provide much of the coal flowing through Metro Vancouver. Even as coal production enters a prolonged decline around much of the world, it has been positively thriving west of the Rocky Mountains.
“Coal production is a mainstay of the province’s economy, generating billions of dollars in annual revenue and supporting thousands of well-paid jobs,” reads the website for B.C.’s Ministry of Energy, Mines and Petroleum Resources.
(Oh what a remarkable HEADACHE for NDP airheads! Good jobs in Alberta producing clean burning natural gas versus good jobs in B.C. producing FILTHY COAL! Would it not be fun to confront Jagmeet Singh and see how HE feels about this mess? What sort of double dealing/ talk out both sides of his mouth sort of crap would he spew? With BOTH federal AND provincial votes hanging in the balance? HAHAHAHAJHAHA!!!!)
Coal is the province’s number one export commodity, with $3.32 billion of coal mined in 2016. Much of this is metallurgical coal, which is exported to Asia for the making of steel.
(So the sale of natural gas to China will NOT affect B.C. coal sales since its mostly used for steel production anyway?)
In recent years, however, Vancouver’s coal ports have also accommodated a massive increase in exports of thermal coal, which is used for the production of electricity.
(Uh oh! THERE IS THE DIRTY hypocrisy! HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!)
In 2008, only 4.4 million tonnes of Vancouver’s coal exports could be called non-metallurgical. By 2017, this had more than doubled to 11.3 million tonnes.
(Oh- eleven million tons burned for electricity- and even the Chinese want alternatives- that LIE-berals are BLOCKING! Even more silly is LIE-beral refusal to export Alberta oil to eastern Canada since Alberta oil is produced under more rigorous environmental rules than the Venezuelan oil we currently use- but then Our idiot Boy Justin IS a silver spoon socialist and he desires to support the Venezuelan socialist fellow travellers at any price!)
Controversially, almost all of this thermal coal is coming from the United States. As lawmakers in Washington and Oregon have begun shutting down their own coal ports due to environmental concerns, thermal coal producers in Wyoming and Montana have simply diverted their product through Canada.
In August, then-premier Christy Clark called for a ban on Vancouver exports of U.S. thermal coal in retaliation for U.S. tariffs on Canadian softwood lumber.
“They are no longer good trading partners with Canada. So that means we’re free to ban filthy thermal coal from B.C. ports, and I hope the federal government will support us in doing that,” she said at the time.
(Oh my- such a TANGLED WEB! LIE-berals are under attack from Trump administration due to their careless handling of national security issues that affect both countries! Yankees do not want to import Muslim radicals and assorted illegals along with their Cdn dairy and softwood lumber- so Trump has been hitting trade in hope of pressuring Our idiot Boy who seems utterly oblivious to the trouble!)
In the main, however, Metro Vancouver has benefited handsomely from the presence of the coal industry, according to numbers compiled by the B.C.-based Coal Alliance. Between 2012 to 2017, coal-related companies spent $2.29 billion in Metro Vancouver, including $470 million in the City of Vancouver proper.
One of the most visible contributions of the coal sector has been as a key sponsor of the Vancouver Aquarium. In 2012 Teck Resources donated $12.5 million to the attraction, the aquarium’s largest-ever single donation.
It’s difficult to precisely calculate the life cycle carbon footprint of Vancouver’s coal exports, given that the city’s ports handle a variety of coal types, each with their own specific emissions profile.
But according to emissions formulas used by the Sierra Club, Vancouver’s 2017 coal exports will produce 99.8 million tonnes of CO2 over their lifetime.
For context, this is significantly higher than B.C.’s entire carbon footprint. In 2014, B.C. estimated that it produced 64.5 million tonnes of CO2 equivalent.
(But nobody wants to ask what the carbon foot print would be if we sold natural gas to China so they could cut back on coal use? Such an AWKWARD question!)
(And does anybody want to ask if there would be added environmental benefit if we began shipping Alberta oil to eastern Canada under more stringent regulations than Venezuela ignores? Oh.....yet ANOTHER hard question! Poor LIE-berals- people want them to make sensible choices- NOT selfish ones!)
It also means that B.C.’s existing coal exports are roughly as bad for the climate as anything scheduled to come out of the Trans Mountain expansion.
Canada is filled with a majority of people that are low-info voters.

MANCHESTER, N.H. — An online adjunct professor incorrectly told a student that Australia isn’t a country and gave her a failing grade, prompting Southern New Hampshire University to replace the instructor.
Buzzfeed News reports that the 27-year-old student in Idaho was assigned to compare American social norms to that of another country. She chose to study social media use in Australia, but the professor gave her a zero on that portion of the assignment, saying Australia is a continent, not a country.
Australia is actually both — a country and a continent.
University officials tell WMUR-TV the instructor has been replaced following an investigation. In a statement, the university said it deeply regrets the interaction between the professor and student, and wished athletes from Australia good luck in the Olympic games.
(I think it would be FUN to find out exactly what sort of values that N.H. U. Course was trying to expose! And what sort of credentials would be needed to teach the course in the first place- since it seems NO elementary knowledge of geography or history was needed to qualify to “teach” that course? What the hell is going on there? And what exactly are “graduates” of the course considered to be knowledgeable about?)
That $35 grand price tag has the same life span as current LIE-beral policy on electric Toy vehicles!

Big business has bought into the green agenda for the subsidies

Monday, Wood Mackenzie, a leading oil, gas, mining and renewable energy analysis firm, issued a report claiming “major oil and gas producers will put more of their capital into wind and solar developments as returns from renewables are poised to exceed some hydrocarbon projects.”
In short, a global consulting firm says major energy companies are going to put lots of money into “green” energy while scaling back on fossil fuels because there is now as much or more money to be made in renewables.
Every time similar news comes out – and it comes out about once a month these days – my Inbox is jammed with told-ya-so messages from “green” activists saying things like, “See, see, even corporate executives accept that climate change is real. They’re ready to do something about it. Why don’t you stop defending carbon.” (Expletives deleted.)
(LIE-berals and their Hog allies have NO intention of telling the truth about green energy. Not about how costly it is. Not about what a job killer it is. Not about the HUGE subsidies that govt throws at green jobs. Green supporters are willing to `modify` the news as necessary to make it LOOK like Green Energy is working well!)
It happened after U.S. President Donald Trump withdrew from the Paris accord and the next day an American headline trumpeted “Corporate America scolds Trump for dumping climate agreement.”
(In truth “Corporate America” is simply afraid that their VERY PROFITABLE green subsidies may be cut!)
It happened last month when London’s Financial Times printed a feature entitled “The Big Green Bang: how renewable energy became unstoppable.” And in March when financial news service Bloomberg carried a headline proclaiming “Big Oil replaces rigs with wind turbines.”
What’s missing in all of these stories is not the what, but the why?
Why, for instance, would executives from four oil and oilsands companies have stood at the podium in November 2015 when Alberta Premier Rachel Notley announced her carbon tax and Climate Leadership Plan?
After all, aren’t corporate execs all about maximizing profits (i.e. greed)? Aren’t they all climate change “deniers” who are against the “green” economy? If even they are worried enough about the future of our planet to go “green,” shouldn’t we all do the same?
Frankly, no.
First of all, there are lots of “wets” – intellectual liberals – among the corporate elites. Indeed, the wealthiest 10% in Western countries are now more likely to vote and donate to the left than to the right.
(A CEO knows to follow the money and right now the money is ALL held by govt! Why run a private business trying to lure in finicky consumers who are broke anyway when you can get a flood of money by sucking up to govt? So what if the govt is LIE-beral- their money has no party affiliation!)
A subconscious feeling of guilt over being prosperous, coupled with peer pressure, have created a need among today’s corporate class to be seen to be socially aware.
But the biggest single reason for this new “green” enlightenment among major energy companies? Subsidies.
(LIE-berals LOVE subsidies. They are paying 900 percent MORE for wind power in Ontari-owe than for other forms of electrical generation. Have signed contracts guaranteeing they will buy any and all green energy produced, regardless of our real needs- which is why they must so often SELL electricity to other provinces and states at a HUGE LOSS! Have re-jigged our electrical grid so we DON’T use as much low cost water power for generation as we once did- in order to MAKE ROOM for unreliable and COSTLY green energy on the grid and it all costs money. Add in the fact that most of the green energy projects are owned by LIE-beral friends and or by financial experts investing Hog pension money in wind farms and you have a HUGE array of LIE-beral pals making a LOT of money off green energy- and LIE-berals are GENEROUS to their supporters!)
There are literally hundreds of billions of dollars in taxpayers’ and electricity consumers’ dollars on offer from governments. And drilling for subsidies seems certain to produce a steadier income stream than drilling for hydrocarbons.
Just three reasonably minor examples from Canada illustrate the problem.
Current “green” energy plans by Ontario’s Liberal government are expected to add $170 billion to residential and industrial power bills by 2032. That’s government forcing consumers to subsidize “green” energy companies.
In Alberta, a carbon tax to subsidize renewable energy and energy-efficiency conversions in new and existing buildings will cost the average family $1,000 a year by 2018 and raise around $3 billion a year for the provincial NDP to toss around at all manner of save-the-planet schemes.
And calculations by Calgary author and policy analyst Mark Milke show that between 2000 and 2016, 80% of the billions in industrial subsidies given out by Natural Resources Canada went to renewable energy companies.
(Mouldy green LIE-beral policy ONLY cleans wallets and leaves the dirt in the air!)
Around the world it’s the same or worse. Governments are pouring slop pails full of taxpayer dollars at wind, solar, biomass and other alternate energies. It’s almost certain none of these energies would be profitable without massive subsidies.
With oil stubbornly below $50US/bbl., getting “green” politicians to squeeze taxpayers and consumers for huge subsidies and massive electricity rate increases is a great way for oil executives to make up sagging profits.
It’s Big “Green” and Big Oil versus taxpayers and consumers.
(The worst of it is that LIE-berals deliberately ignore the simple solutions to fossil fuel use. They refuse to cut back on Hog gravy. Take a drive up to the north east GTA -the side roads east and south of Newmarket and look at all the 3, 5, 10 acre estates out there- each one with a 3 or 4 car garage- with so many cars there is no need for public transit out that way! And in fact NONE exists- it is classic urban sprawl car culture- SPAWNED by Sunshine List Hogs! It is classic urban sprawl- the LIE-berals want US to forget about! But its FINE for LIE-beral pals to live in- and LIE-berals are launching their Carbon crap and trade scam so they will have MORE GRAVY for Hogs who already have the largest carbon foot print!)
(Then take your canoe up to the Muskoka Lakes and paddle around counting up the number of gas guzzling toys buzzing around you! And again- ask: how many Sunshine List Hogs are here? The true answer ought to be INFURIATING FOR YOU! Unless YOU are a Hog!)
(If govt simply cut back on gravy for Hogs, they would do as we peasants have done all along- they would SHRINK their gross carbon foot print down to more modest levels! They would drive smaller cars and drive less frequently. They would own smaller and easier to heat dwellings. They would think twice before pulling out the gas guzzling toys, and might look to less damaging forms of fun! With less gravy, Hogs would even cut back on airline travel and airplanes are the most dirty way to move anything! But LIE-beral lust for power at any price coupled with Hog greed means none of these environment saving options will ever be used! Cut back on Hog gravy and we could even save our economy!)
