Hell yes; anyone with any serious knowledge about meds at all knows that can happen.

Again, I think drugs are NOT the answer for everything and there's too quick a rush by people for the need to 'label' themselves as having some sort of issue and therefore being 'special'.

For people who really do need drug help, they get shoved into that stigma of the "need to get over it". There are some things you can't get over, that you need help for.

But then there's things you don't need help for.

Whichever it is that this guy was, he brought attention to it, hopefully, and something can be done.

Well, my 2 cents, and it won't be easy.

This guy spent his whole life with Asperger's, and everyone around telling him that he's 'special', and everything is ok.
Gets sent to a regular State school, because anything else would be just wrong.
State school must accommodate.
Everyone tells him he is normal, and 'special', and get his participation trophies.
Leftism forces people's behaviour, but hey no sex so no problem.

Gets to college, realizes he is not 'normal'.
If he really is an Elliot fanboi, he sees the hook up culture, a great party of sex, to which he isn't invited.
No girl will have him, because facial ticks, socially awkward, and meowing in the hallway ain't sexy.
Finally realizes everyone who told him he was normal was lying to him.

Without the State forcing everyone to treat him 'normal', the girls run away.

What gets him to snap, to behave like Marc Lepine, that I have no idea.

But I really doubt the drugs helped.

So will people start assuming all Asperger's patients are going to become like this guy? Cause now that'll be the next thing some idiots are going to start saying.

Just because you have Asperger's, doesn't exempt you from crimes.

If he had Asperger's, he would not have been able to join the military. He was able to join, and was in boot camp for a handful of days (thirteen? sixteen?) before he left.

This is one reason why I question the use of Asperger's as an 'excuse' for him.

That said, maybe he was taking drugs, maybe they did fail him - or he stopped taking them - and maybe this, maybe that. Until there's facts, we can just speculate.

It doesn't mean I still can't hate the guy for taking ten lives.

All misdirection. This was Islamic terrorism, just like Marc Lepine.

And then you wonder why you're branded a Trumptard.

Notice how the anti-gun crowd is wondering about motive, instead of blaming the object he used and demanding far stricter laws regarding the ownership and/or use of said object?

You mean normal people who recognize murder by car is much less prevalent than murder by gun so the motive is more important.

At least you confirmed for us that there are two other members on this forum just as fukking stupid as you are.

if he was enraged at being an involuntary celibate why didn't he choose a day that celebrated women? eg. international womens day, etc.?

So what do you suggest for people with mental health issues?

I for one am tired of having things like this being catalogued so effin much that the reason people did it HAS to be X factor, and not just because they are blatantly a terrorist azzhole with issues. Giving him the excuse that he was misogynistic or he was incel (come the f on, really?) is giving him validation that he's now 'super special'.

No, call him a terrorist, call him off his effin noodle and deal with him accordingly.

You live in Canada we aren't aren't supposed to treat terrorists meanly...
